Julio Franco has just signed with the braves and will be activated tomorrow.
Does this mean we are about to deal out Salty or Thorman???

No way they deal Salty. I don't know whether or not they can get much for Thorman, so I'd imagine he'll be getting an all expense paid trip to Richmond for the rest of the season.

Don't be surprised if you see Salty dealt to Pittsburgh for one of their young pitchers. I also wouldn't be surprised if I see a deal including Thorman and Davies. Kyle Davies is going to give Bobby Cox a heart attack.

I don't know. The man is the all-time record holder for getting tossed out of games... if he hasn't given himself a fatal one, no player is going to take the honor from him.

Required by law to point out and rub in the sweep my Reds just pulled on the Braves. That is all. :P

Its all good. Were still in the wild card race and 2 1/2 back from the mets.
You know...Griffey sure would look spiffy in a Braves uni after Andrew bolts next season.

Ehh...we gotta let everybody have a sweep every 17 years or so...I'll have kids in college the next time it happens. Hehe

Don't think we're gonna trade Grif. The higher ups know that right now watching him hit #600 as well as pass Sosa on the career list to reach #5 all time is about all we Reds fans have too look forward too this season.
Lexington is pretty well divided between Reds and Braves fans...so it's a big deal when we sweep 'em. Had to rub it in.

The only team Atlanta hates getting swept by is the Mets. And that does not happen too often:thumpsup:
