I voted no. I believe that they may have the talent this year to get to a Bowl. But, I believe every team in the SEC East is solid this year, and better than Vandy. That should give them 4 to 5 losses by teams in the East (with maybe one upset by Vandy), and then at least 2 of 3 losses from team's in the West. It's gonna be tough for them to get to a Bowl IMO.

of course I'm going to vote yes, but I don't want to get my hopes up to high...

I don't know how we can have 3 losses from teams in the west, well, because We play Ole miss, at home, and Bama, at home, 2 very winnable games. We also play Richmond, Miami(OH), wake forest(will prove last year was a fluke) along with east michigan.
we could very easily go bowling....

From the West you play Alabama (home), Ole Miss (home), and Auburn (away). I believe you'll probably lose to Auburn and Alabama, and Ole Miss is a toss-up. I stand by my original post that you'll probably lose at least 2 of the 3 games with teams from the West.......Just an opinion, and I hope I'm wrong in my belief that Vandy will not go bowling. I'd love to see Vandy in a Bowl Game, as long as it's not at the expense of my Gamecocks taking a loss to Vandy.

I think Vandy will handle Ole Miss pretty easily and have an outside shot to upset one of the Alabama schools. I think they'll be bowl eligible at 6-6 but will get shafted in favor of some undeserving PAC 10 or Big 12 team with the same record.

I hope Vandy makes it to a bowl but I also hope that Bama wouldn't be one of the wins they must have to make it

I say yes. Vandy has always got enough heart to play everyone tight, and steal one now and then. Now they have upgraded the talent, maybe not to SEC level, but if they play with the same heart they could have a 8 win season.

I'm going to have to be a yes on this one. Vandy is a good team. They are not a great team, nor a bad team but they are a good team. I think Vandy is just good enough to make it into a bowl game. It should be interesting if it comes down to the last week if they are 5-6 and they need to win. That would be very interesting.
