I ran into and had a conversation with Chris Culliver, Jason Barnes, Melvin Ingram, and Byron McKnight this morning. They were looking for their class, as they had just finished their morning workouts. They are all looking forward to hitting someone.
1. Chris Culliver is huge. Not tall, mind you, but huge. He is easily the thickest wide receiver on the team, and he looks like an outside linebacker.
2. Jason Barnes is put together exactly like Sidney Rice. I can't wait to see him practice on August 4th. Wide Receivers are going to have a battle on their hands.
3. Melvin Ingram has a little pudge on him. The coaches probably want him to lose a little weight. His target weight at enrollment was 250, and he's at 255 right now.
4. Byron McKnight is tall, but there's not much bulk to him right now. He's a definite redshirt, which is something we were all already aware of.
I've got a few Quintin Richardson notes that I've heard from some sources close to the situation. Granted Quintin should not have been at that apartment complex, and he obviously shouldn't have been carrying weed. I have found out, however, that Quintin was the only person searched in the group that you see on the video of the arrest. What's up with that? Why didn't they search anyone else. Also, how did the media (television cameras) know to be there? While Quintin made a huge mistake, this sounds a little odd to me.
