Fall Practices will be starting up in the next few weeks. Incoming freshmen will be coming in to prove why they were selected for their particular skills. Seniors will be trying to hold down their positions and hope that an unheralded underclassman doesn't take that away. Last season's 2nd & 3rd teamers will be battling for positions vacated by upperclassmen who have moved on to the NFL or graduated.
All these young men are realizing a dream to play in the best conference in all of college sports- the SEC.
So I am offering Best Wishes and a Prayer for an injury-free season to all of our SEC players. We may talk smack about our rival SEC team, and that's all good and well. It's part of college sports. But these young men put their bodies on the line each & every week during the Fall Practice & Regular Season for their benefit and ours.
