Well, I for one have not heard anything about them. But it might also be because Oregon is not expected to mount much of a run at the top 25 for 2007, so they are flying pretty low on the "Scandalous News" radar......

There was a brief thread about it. What we should be talking about is how clean and sparking Oklahoma came out of it. It should have been much worse.

Is Keith Nichol driving Adrian Peterson's old Lexus coupe or is he making $775/hour or so at Bomar's old job? A 2 year commitment to Michigan State changed with one weekend visit to Norman. Interesting stuff, that.

What sanctions!?!? :laugh:Exactly. ALthough I didn't want to see OU get severe sanctions because I have always liked OU and Stoops, I would have to say the penalties handed down are laughable. I think this is a prelude to what USC will be getting. This is certainly good news for USC since thier sanctions will be coming soon and I would have to believe that their sanctions will be on the same scale. Maybe thats why OUs was a bit soft.

The only thing I can think of in OU's defense is that they kicked off the two players right away.

Yeah, that is shocking considering John Smith was fired. The coach who was recruiting him. A coaching change has NEVER made a recruit change their mind. :brick:

The only thing I can think of in OU's defense is that they kicked off the two players right away.Along with all the self-imposed penalties.

Look up most of the programs who have had "failure to monitor" put on them and they are similar except a few more additions because very few if any took the steps immediately that OU did.

But I can't blame SEC fans for wanting the bad press to go somewhere else.
