Well, if the bottom 8 are any indication, I think it's gonna look like this....
1. Tebow
2. Woodson
3. Ainge
4. JPW
Not that I necesarily agree, but the order of the bottom 8 is questionable to say the least!!

Probably...
1. Ainge - based on OC, OL, WRs, and talent & experience
2. Woodson - based on talent & experience
3. JPW - based on talent, OC, and smarts
4. Tebow - based on his daddy's hype machine

I like this list...although, I think JPW and Tebow could be switched and it would still make sense. I believe all 4 of theses QBs are gonna have big years...:thumpsup:

Looks like Geaux is a little "sore" over Flynn's ranking..."Best back-up QB in the SEC"...now that's pretty funny!!! I thought that honor should go to Tebow...considering he was far more successful last year than Flynn:
TEBOW: 22-33-1 358yds 5 TDs
FLYNN: 12-20-1 133yds 2 TDs
*Looks like a photo finish to me!!:laugh:

The head-to-head between Flynn & Tebow should be a good one! The season is coming, the season is coming!

I think the bottom 8 is a little questionable.
We all know Woodson is the best QB in the SEC.

Woodson = Couch I would say
Couch was like a statue, he had no mobility, Woodson is not like Couch. Why? Because I would not pick him number 1 overall like the Browns picked Couch

Fair rankings I would say. All I know is JPW should be in the top 3.

Tebow will be good, no doubt. But even I have to chuckle at ranking him #2 in the SEC at this point. Fourth is the highest I would rank him.

Woodson = Couch I would say
:lolup: :nuts: :icon_lame
What a moronic statement!! Woodson and Couch are apples and oranges. Totally different systems. Totally different throwing motion. Completely different minds for the game.
Couch and Mumme drew up plays in the dirt, and threw the ball a billion times a game. He never had to really RUN an offense, which is why he was so ill-prepared for the League.
Woodson runs more of a pro stye offense. Throws ALL the throws (needs work on mid range and over the midlle stuff). Throws a beautiful deep ball. Has as good a percentage as Couch, and throws less times. His 3,000+ YDs, and 31 TDs to 7 INTs are Couch-like, but done in way less attempts. He makes good checks at the line, and can run the ball much better than Couch---has better feet, in general.
The following are matching moronic statements that you should relate to:
Ainge=Tee Martin
or
Ainge=Clausen

i know woodson is rated highly, BUT did you see how he reacts under pressure, he folded. So far this year he had it easy and was throwing inside his glass box with no pressure and the first game he played a good Defense he fell apart and was out performed by a freshman QB, now go ahead and bash on me!

Woodson, and UK for that matter, had a poor game against USC. I'm sure USC had something to do with that, but UK has faced good teams over the last couple of years and Woodson didn't choke. He led his team to 26 1st downs and about 400 yards in the loss, which isn't terrible. I expect Woodson will do well today against LSU at Home.

Andre' Woodson (0) 23 40 227 2 1 5.7He played a pretty good Florida team last season (Nat'l Champs if you forgot) and racked up a good game, played a supposedly good Clemsux team, played a good UT, played a good UGA team, played a good USCe team last season. In all those games he put together very good numbers. He has 1 bad game and you don't call him one of the elite QB's in the SEC??? You need to fire up the crack pipe again. Comparing Smelley's game against an inferior UK defense to Woodson against y'all's 'D' is ridiculous.
In case you need a refresher on his stats from last season, here you go.

Texas St 197I didn't realize that you had to have 300 yd. games to be considered a very good QB........I think you have to look at his effiency as much as total yds. thrown........it is hard to discount his total stats....but hey if you feel that way about that your opinion. I'll put it this way....I'd take him over Smelley in day of the week.
Give Woodson the OL of UF or LSU and I think you'd see his numbers skyrocket, so given the weak OL at UK that makes what he has accomplished more impressive.

You also have you take into account that Kentucky is running the ball more effectivley now than they were last year, so Woodson's yardage will drop some.
UK still has the 2nd best pass offense yardage wise in the SEC led by Woodson. That's got to count for something.
