How would u rank them?

In this tread we are ranking the best SEC football uniforms!
there are 12 SEC schools, so the grade will be from 1-12, 1 being the best, 12 being the worse!

1. Georgia, love the bulldog bone stickers on the helmet, and you can never go wrong with silver pants

2. Florida, gotta love the different colors they can come out in, from orange pants, to all blue, and by far got the coolest helmet!

3.)Bama- next to Penn State, probably the most recognizable jerseys in college football, very clean, helmet is in a class of its own

4.) LSU- love the white jerseys at home, I dont know who did it first but got the cowboy thing going on. and helmet is pretty neat too.


5.)South Carolina- now a couple years ago with the black helmets, they would be getting a 12 from me, but this year with the new under armor uniforms, the cocks and going to be looking good

6.) Auburn- love the traditional all white on the road, and the royal blue home jerseys are tight

7.)Arkansas- Love the all white uniforms, and the hog aint to bad either

8.)Ole Miss- I like there blue jerseys alot, very clean looking, road uni's need some work

9.)Vandy- have come a long way from there jerseys back in the 90's, road jerseys with black pants and gold helmets, are pretty tight

10.)UT- well there jerseys are very recognizable but, that orange will make you go blind if you look at it too long.

11.)Mississippi State- not a big fan of the "M" logo on the helmet, need to go back to the MSU and they would be higher on the list, plus pulling away from nike didn't help either

12.)UK- those all blue jerseys are horrible, I could stand there jerseys when they had white helmets, but all blue makes me think of Duke

Your list is okay. Ole Miss could be moved higher, IMO. And the Auburn unis are a tad better looking than those of Bama. Oh, and of course the Tigahs should be tied with Jaw-Ja for numero uno!

1. UF: God made the Sun orange and the ocean Blue...what colors are better? All blue unis, all white unis, white top with blue bottom...white top with orange bottom...and the most recognized helmet in CFB...hard to beat the Gators.

2. UGA: I like the silver britches...but I'm not crazy about the "dog bones"...Richt brought that over from f$u, where the players get a "tomahawk" sticker every time they make a play...seems to promote too much individuality for a team, IMO.

3. UT: Love the all whites...and I'm a little partial to orange.

4. UK: Love the all blues...yea, I'm a little partial to blue as well.

5-12: All tied up...I don't like any of them at all.

I agree y'all probably have the best helmet, but y'all look ugly as hell when you wear purple jerseys. As for Ole Miss I think we look pretty good in Red or Blue, but our away uniform just doesn't look to great.

1. Vanderbilt. Gold and Black is great. They're all black is the best uniform in the SEC imo.

2. Auburn. Love the home unis.

3. Alabama. Classic. Love the numbers on the helmets. Also i like the gray facemask.

4. Tennesssee. :laugh: I know the homes arn't great, but i love the all white road unis.

1. USCar: Not necessarily the style but Under Armour is some high dollar stuff!! :thumpsup:

2. Alabama: Gotta respect the traditional look. There is not a more classier looking uniform in the SEC and thats a fact!!

3. Florida: Like already mentioned...I love how the colors can be assorted.

4. Kentucky: Too much blue is fine if you just leave out orange!! :laugh:

5. Georgia: Red, silver, and black. Enough said.

6. Arkansas: That helmet never gets old.

7. Vanderbilt: Black & Gold is one of my personal favorites.

8. Auburn: Not too flashy but the road whites are nice.

9. LSU: The phrase "so what" comes to mind.

1. Auburn: Yes, I am a HOMER.... Love the Home and Road Uni's.

2. LSU: I dont know why, I am not a big fan of Purple but I like the Home Uni's

3. USC: I dont really like the All Black but the other Uni's are good.

4. Florida: Not bad, just stay away from the Retro Uni's......

5. Arkansas: Like a lot of others have said, the Helmet is cool.

6. Vanderbilt: Black and Gold is OK, but nothing special

7. Georgia: Could be higher but I dont like Georgia so they could be lower too.

8. Kentucky: not much to say, they are better than the rest.

9. Alabama: I have always thought Penn State looks like a Pack of Generic Cigarette's, I know Bama Uni's are part of the Tradition and all that but they are too plain for me, almost like Penn State covered in blood, with numbers on the helmet.

10: Ole Miss: UMMMMM...I dont know, I guess they could be higher than this, they are probably better than Kentucky, but does it really matter

11: Miss. State: See Ole Miss.

12: Tennessee: TOO MUCH ORANGE....Hurts my eyes to look at them.

(1) Alabama-I love our simple unis and the helmet
(2) LSU--like the white tops and the helmets
(3) Ole Miss--red and blue just look good together.
(4) UGA--silver britches
(5) UF--not bad color combo. Their throw backs were pretty sweet.
(6) AU--good color combo and simple jersey. I rank them lower because I don't like the names on the front of the jersey.
(7) UT--wow that is bright orange
(8) USC--not bad but those black unis are horrible
(9) Arkansas--unlike some here, I don't like the helmet and I don't like the name on the front.
(10) MSU--just don't like the maroon that much and the helmets looked better with the interlocking MSU
(11) Vandy--pick a uni and stay with it.
(12) UK--Can't stand the same color on same color.

I'm going to be lazy and just list a few:

1. Bama. It's tradition and recognizable. Don't change it.
2. Ole Miss. Those stripes just scream old southern football to me.
3. Arkansas. Yeah I'm being a homer here. It's not really the uni's. I love the hog emblem. It works no matter what they do.

12. South Carolina. Actually, I like the current uni's but stop changing every two years!

I think Florida & Virgina Tech should have sued Nike for what they did with those. The only good thing about those is the folks @ Florida had enough brains to burn them after one game!

Here's what I think of the SEC uniforms....

1. Auburn - Love what Under Armor has done. Prefer the road all whites.

2. Ole Miss - Love the over all look. The lettering of "Ole Miss" on the helmet is classic. Not crazy about the red jerseys, prefer the blue

3. Arkansas - Love the hog running on the helmet

4. Florida - Good colors. Like the "Gator" logo spelled out but think the gator head would look cool on the helmet.

5. LSU - I know they have a tradition of wearing white @ home but I really love the purple jerseys and wish they would waer them more.

6. USC - Think the new Under Armor looks good. Stay with the white helmets

7. Alabama - I know it's steeped in traditon but I've never liked the numbers on the helmets. I think they would have one of the best uniforms in all of college football if they would drop the numbers and replace it with the Alabama "A" like they have @ the 50 yard line in BDS. That would look great I think.

8. UT - Wile I like their overall look I think the numbers on the jerseys are too thick.

9. UGA - Like the classic look. Lose the dog bones on the helmets. It looks too cluttered with them on there.

10. Vandy - Right now they look pretty cool but they change their look every three or four years so they could go either up or down depending on what happens.

11. UK - I like the shade of blue they use but there is just too much of it on the uniforms. They should go back to white helmets & paints to even it back out.

12. MSU - Seems like they change logos almost as much as Vandy. Prefer the white helmets with the M logo with State running across the front of the M

Thoses look real good except for the all black. I've never liked a uniform that is mostly one color.

Those look horrible IMO. Really don't like all the stuff on the shoulder pads and what is going on with the swooshs on the pants. Not a fan of those.

As for the suggestion, that Alabama put the logo on the helmet, I personally think that would look horrible. I love the #s and believe they are the most recognizable helmet in college football. It is simple and classic.

1. Arkansas.... I am a homer, but I really do love that helmet.... and the uniforms are refined and simple, the name on the front is the best
2.Kentucky - a blue version of Arkansas but with a less sophisticated emblem
3.Auburn nice stripes and the blue works with the orange
4.Georgia.... looks like a Pro team Uniform.... can't quite place where I've seen that 'G' before.
5.Florida, I just like 'em
6.Ole Miss.... It works and the stripes are bangin' the writing is a little weak sauce
7.South Carolina.... I don't like the emblem but the uniform is one of the best
8.LSU ugly colors ugly emblem.... but at least they don't look like they are wearing practice jerseys
9.Vanderbilt the black and gold is good, need a better emblem
10.Alabama... nostalgic, but that's it. It is an ugly nostalgic

1. Auburn - Original look, helmets look great, home dark blue's are my favorite.
2. LSU - Very unique color combo, helmets are pretty sweet
3. Arkansas - Red and white looks sharp
4. Bama - Kind of bland, but traditional
5. Ole Miss - Red jersey.
6. Florida - Highlighter blue and orange, but still Blue and orange. Sweet helmets.
7. Georgia - Not a huge red and black fan
8. UK - Blue is alright, nothing amazing
9. Vandy - black is so-so
10. Tenn. - Pretty ugly shade of orange.
11. USC - The new unis do look a lot better though. Just not a huge fan of the color combo.

i agree with the bama comment. i saw a picture someone made with a script A on the side instead of the #s. it looked good with a little flake in it.

I love Carolina's new Uni's, and of course my team's traditional look. I can't stand all the orange jersey's, sorry that may be just me.

I wasn't here last summer, but my guess would be yes. Every sports board on the net covers the uniforms discussion during the off season. Also you have to talk about the schedule, who has the best conference, who has the best tradition, who has the best stadium, and best game experience. :laugh: :laugh:

I don't like the plain stuff....Penn State, etc. So, bama is low on my list, though I think the helmet is classic.

I'd go:

1. Florida: All blue, all white, and the white-top/blue bottom combos are my favs.
2. LSU: ...but only with the purple tops....that looks tight with the yellow helmet. Geaux, tell 'em to stop wearing that [bleeping] white all the time!
3a. Auburn: a close third. They have a very clean, balanced look that I like.
3b. Georgia: I like the red/silver/black contrasts a lot, actually.
5. Ole Miss: lots of color with the red jerseys.
6. Vandy: the all-black and gold is pretty cool; the others are average.
7. Hogs: simple, plain, functional; nothing amazing.
8. MSU: another program that needs some color variety, and I dislike the helmet a lot.
9. Bama: don't like the unis, but the helmet is classic.
10. UT: I liked the white-top/orange-bottom look better on the road, and the all-orange isn't bad, but the standard combos need a little revamping.
11. South Carolina: Hate the colors and the uni style. The white helmet is better, though.
12. Kentucky: Not enough color variety, too plain....probably the most boring.
