Auburn--the eagle and the fact their stadium actually goes all the way down to the field unlike say Alabama or LSU.

Florida--i lived there for a year so this one is tough. It is certainly not the jean shorts. Even though I love the fact that Alabama girls get dressed to the nines for the game, there is also appreciation for the fact when I went to a few UF games in the student section there were some very nice girls wearing bikini tops to the game.
South Carolina--their intro and that they have supported their team despite them sucking for quite some time. THey deserve the good coach they have.
Georgia--the bridge and Larry Munson
Vandy--other then the fact they leave half the stadium for the visiting team, I would have to go with their academics.
Kentucky--they actually get snow up there and they go bezerk over basketball in a football conference.

These are the kind that help pass the time until SEC sports starts over with football in the fall of 07.

Let's see.......

1. Florida.....EVERYONE has to envy the 4 LARGE trophys they have won in recent history , 2 football NCs and 2 hoops NCs. For sure , they are the "right now" school in all of the NCAA. Holding the football NC and back to back hoops NCs is just insane.

2. UT.......P Manning. You can not be a fan of PM , but if you don't enjoy watching him play then you just don't appreciate greatness. The UT basketball coach can fire you up , even if you are not a hoops fan.

3. UK.......Love John Cohen ( MSU former player). Still respect them as the measuring stick for SEC basketball.

4. UGA.......I really like Richt , and big fan of Champ Bailey. Mascot name: Bulldogs.......Yeah , I can live with that.

5. Vandy.......LOve their baseball program and the direction it is headed. I hated to see them go out early. They were as good as anyone in the country.

6. S. CAR.......Huge Spurrier fan and you have to respect their fan support even when things were very bad for them.

7. LSU..........If I weren't an MSU fan , LSU would be my team. Love the colors and they have a good history in all sports.

8 . ARK........McFadden and the calling of the hogs.

9. Bama.......Derrick Thomas. I am a lifetime KC Chiefs fan and DT was my favorite defensive player ever. God rest his soul.

2. Arkansas: That video board is unreal.

3. Auburn: Very nice fans. The nature of the people on the plains reminds of the people I know and love here in Columbia.

4. Mississippi State: It must be nice to be the only school in the SEC with the ability to break the rules by using artificial noise makers and never getting reprimanded for it.

5. Ole Miss: I really wish we could turn the fairgrounds in Columbia into something similar to The Grove.

6. LSU: I wish people peed their pants just thinking about playing at Williams-Brice Stadium at night the way they do when think of doing the same at the original Death Valley.

7. Florida: Everyone rags Gator fans for wearing jean shorts, yet they continue to wear them without giving a dern what you think. I seriously wish I had that kind of self-confidence.

8. Tennessee: Vol Navy.

9. Georgia: Throwing batteries and half-full Coca-Cola bottles at opposing fans. We throw stuff like that on the field. Georgia fans take it to the next level.

10. Vandy: The Peabody campus is absolutely gorgeous.

11. Kentucky: The state is probably the green grass capital of the world, and I love it when they wear all blue football uniforms.
