I was just curious as to how many of you in here go to your teams games. I remember during football and basketball season a lot of guys giving updates, so I was just curious. I'll assume upfront that most if not all of the college students in here attend.

As for me, I used to get season tickets to football and basketball, but eventually got tired of going alone.

I have always had a hundred excuses for not going to most of the games, mostly involving the woman I married.
But now that's it's a three hour drive to Fayetteville I have an even bigger excuse.
Those of us who live in the south live in really big states.

I don't make it to as many games as I did a few years ago. The last year I bought season tickets was 03. My wife pretty much told me I'd have to choose between season tickets and my golf club membership. I can watch football on TV from August through the Super bowl but I can golf all year. I still try to make it to at least two or three home games every year.

I usually make it to two or three games per year. My wife and I get together with a bunch of friends every Saturday and tailgate even if we don't go to the games.

Good call WE 73. Golf is something you can do every Sat. There are only so many Auburn home games.

when i lived in Tupelo, i could hit Bama, Vandy, Memphis, State, and Ole Miss games. all within 2 hours from home. of course, i had to fly to BR for home games.

The WLOCP is my only ritual. Even if I can't get tix, Im always at the landing partying with Gator & Dawg fans. I do have a hookup for tix now and will attend one UF home game this year.
But yeah Im a slave to football. My wife hates football season as Friday nights are dominated by HS, Saturday from noon till midnight is dominated by college, and Sunday I watch at least one NFL game. Jags or Falcons.
Football is #1 in America. The fan attendance shows you that.

i don't follow HS football. i always watch them, but i rarely go to saints games.

but, college football is a different animal. i can watch any team play. i need WLOCP, clem/scarl, egg bowl, iron bowl, OSU/Mich game, and RRSH to my resume before i die.

Logistics prevent me from going to games. I've only hit a couple in the last few years. WLOCP last year, Tech in 2005, 2003. I haven't been to Sanford (other than this year's Gday game) since Heath Shuler handed it to us in the early 90's. That's our next plan, hit a home game.
I LOVE listening to all the games via Larry on Gxtra.

I'm a season ticket holder myself, I'm located in central MS So I can take off in just about any dirrection and watch a division one game within 150 miles, there's a fellow I work with thats a huge bama fan and we bet on last years NC for four tickets to any bama home game V/s ticket cover price ,so now I have 4 tickets to the LSU & bama game and dont really care to go , I've checked ticket exchanges like hub stub and there going around 400 a ticket , I cant believe someone would pay that for a ticket!

$400 apiece!!! damn, i'd pay $400 for two. i'm going up there w/o tickets with a hope and a prayer of getting one. either way, i love tailgating in bama. since you're not interested in either team, i'd sell them. personally, i'd go because i love football and this should be a good un. but i don't know if it's $1,600 good.

I go to at least a couple every year...as many of you have stated, I use to go to more, but have "a life" to deal with now so it's difficult to go to as many as I would like.

I have been to over 100 home, away, and bowl games. I went many years that I NEVER missed a home game. I still have the season tickets, but I sell them to my brother.

I make a couple games a year now.

My wife and I have season tickets and go to all of the home games.
We usually go to one or more away games each year, too.
Hopefully, we'll score some Bama tickets and be able to go to B-D this year.

I go to every game that Arkansas plays at home - am a student. And I go to LSU, Ole Miss, and Florida away.... when we play Florida. We have family and friends there. Whenever Arkansas goes to the SECCG or a bowl game, I am there also.... my father is people in high places.

I have seen every Ole Miss football game played in Oxford since I was born 25 years ago. I saw my first one at 6 months old and have been going strong ever since. I have a baby due in Nov and my wife is so badass we are going to induce if there is a chance of me missing a game. Ole Miss women! God Bless Them!

yep, as a college student I dont miss a home game unless it's an emergency situation, and I try to make it two one or two away games as well. This year I'll be going to WLOCP, Bama, and Tech in addition to the home games

I try to make a couple games in Gainesville every year. So far this year, I only have 3 tix to homecoming against Vandy. I'm going to try to make the WLOCP, too.

Well, I don't know how things are in Iowa, but around here, if you don't go to your HS games (if you're a student of course), you are the outcast of all outcasts.
