Like Burt, I get movies through mail (and copy them, DVDFab kicks major ass) but I do purchase box sets. Recently, I bought all nine seasons of X-Files and Millenium. I also bought the animated Dungeons and Dragons box set. Oh, and Scooby Doo, season 3.

The only movies I own are Dumb and Dumber, PCU, Young Frankenstein, Airheads, Blade Runner, Hot Shots Part Deux, and a couple each of 311, Primus, Pantera, Alice in Chains, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Phish band "movies" whatever you wanna call 'em.
Like video games...I let my friends by them...most movies are mediocre at best and aren't worth owning. Hell the only movies I mentioned above...other than the bands movies, cuz those rock, worth watching more than once are Dumb and Dumber and Young Frankenstein.

I was a big 311 fan through High School and College. I saw them live 5 times. Great Band. The last album that came out when I was still pretty Die Hard about it was "Evolver" That and every album before was a great listen all the way through. I haven't heard their new stuff, but my buddies who still listen say that they have softened up alot.

One of the members recently went on hiatus so he could spend more of his time fighting global warming.
