I just saw Evan Almighty. It was pretty funny and better than Bruce Almighty to me. Steve Carell is one of the better LOL actors of today IMO. I still miss Chris Farley though.
Anyways, next on my list is Live free or diehard and the Simpsons movie.

I don't see any movie trips in my near future. The next big movie drop I'm waiting for is 300 on DVD.

In the last few weeks, I've gone to see Shrek 3 (my wife wanted to see it), Pirates, and Mr. Brooks.
Actually, Shrek 3 was pretty good. Pirates was much better then the 2nd (which I thought stunk), although not as good as the 1st.
Mr. Brooks was quite entertaining, and I probably enjoyed it more than the other two (Shrek and Pirates). I've enjoyed almost every movie I've ever seen that Kevin Costner is in.

QFT. I don't think he can make a bad movie.

Water World wasn't bad. Dances With Wolves is about the only one I can't watch. God that movie is way too long.

Fandango was pretty funny too. what's the one where he was a Naval Officer? that was good too. OK, I haven't like any of his movies since 2000 although Mr. Brooks looks creepy.

Alright I'll give my brief cinema run down as of late:
Mr. Brooks: Like most other people, I can do nothing but rave for this movie. Ever since seeing it I have been literally preaching people to go see it, yet they always go see "Knocked Up" or some lame crap instead and wonder what went wrong. Bottom line is that Mr. Brooks is my favorite movie of 2007 so far.
Evan Almighty: I didn't like it as much as Bruce Almighty, most because I didn't have Jennifer Aniston to look at for 2 hours. Steve C. is great but the ending was just..I don't know, very moral heavy etc.
1408: Ok, just saw "1408". Let it be known that I always enjoy John Cusak, but this movie just didn't do it for me. Decent idea, but the ending sucked and it just seemed to struggle to pull everything together at the end. I declare this movie to be "Rental Status" and should not be paid 8 bucks to watch.
