Kinda odd that it was revised in 2003 by Bush and thats the same year Cheney stopped cooperating with the agency...and the same year we invaded Iraq.

Of course he's part of that branch, but denying that status makes for more loopholes to take advantage of. These guys are better at getting around the law and trampling rights than anyone I've ever seen. That's one of the reasons W hasn't been impeached. His replacement is worse. It's easier to control a moron than a sly, crafty snake.

Amen and Rep points for that!! But then again, what do you really expect?? Who's really to blame?? The idiot that does the crime and gets away with it, or the insanely ignorant hoards of people that put him in that position to begin with. When the number of voters who'll actually take time out of their lives to "vote" for garbage like American Idol out-numbers the amount of Americans who vote for their elected officials by a 10-1 margin, society pretty much deserves exactly the garbage we have leading this country!

I think it's time to get Gonzales back in front of Congress, so he can explain this latest bit of constitutional legerdemain. The resulting stream of illogic will amke for great entertainment, of nothing else.
