ive had both, ones coke and ones pepsi..........you would have to make the decision on what specialty channels one has vs the other
I have Sirius now and it supposedly has SEC sports but I have yet to listen to any on it

I like Sirius - great rock n' roll channels. Not sure about the SEC stuff, haven't gotten the hook up for the house and I don't drive my car long distances; but my player is portable and I can record songs and programs, useful for runs when I want a change from my ipod.

It's a done deal.

Myself, I just burn a ton of MP3's and slide into my CD player in the vehicle and down the road I go.

I like Sirius, but their hardware sucks a big brown hole. Updating firmware is a pain, and their stuff just doesn't last for some reason.

not a done deal....yet..........if you read the article it says the merger is pending shareholder and regulator approval..........well it doesnt look like the FCC is gonna let it happen.......what is being argued is would the merger create a monopoly? well as far as sattelite radio, since there are only two players, XM and Sirius, the answer is obviously yes but XM and Sirius are trying to say that they are one player in an arena of delivery methods i.e.
mp3, traditional radio, etc
Ive made a good chunk off both in stock through the last 4 yrs getting in, holding, getting out but like a dumba$$ got in Sirius a year and a half ago as it peaked at 8 and Ive been holding there since as it plummeted to 2 and is now between 3 and 4 depending on the day...........Im hoping the merger will bring me at least even so I can GTFO!!

I've got XM and I only listen to about 5 channels. The only time I really get my money's worth is on road trips. I did hear a commercial on XM about them picking up the SEC this season
