Let me first say that any poster who posts several times a day (or more) on average is admired by me. Anyone who contributes to the site in a good way is my favorite. But if you must have a list...

UGA- Seppeh- Huge contributor plus a good representation of the fan base.

UF- GatorHunter/GatorU- These guys are good with stats and seem to get a good deal of inside info.

UT- Sabanocchio/SOJ- Funny guys, big contributors, nothing else to say.

Vandy- Vandyfan84? I think thats his user name. Vandy could use more members who contribute as much as him.

USC- Williams Brice/ NEO This is tough b/c there are alot of USC fans who contribute so much to this site. I PM these guys a little more so I went with them. Honorable mention...Lacene Gamecock_Fan

I appreciate those that mentioned me as one of their favorites.

I'm not even going to attempt to try and list my favorites for each school since I'm sure I'd leave several quality posters out (mainly because I'm getting a little older, and therefore, a little senile and forgetful :laugh: ). However, I will say that I enjoy reading what most everyone on here has to say. This site has some great posters (definitely the majority) and that's what keeps me here. Compared to some sites I've been to, this site is head-and-shoulders above the rest, primarily due to the number of quality posters on here. :thumpsup:

I am an unabashed Kennedy lover. I got to see what he could do while he was at Cincinnati both behind Huggins and as the HC.

I believe Kennedy is a great x's and o's coach...really knows the ins and outs of the game and has a real passion for it. He's a moderate recruiter, solid if you will...but he also has to go about against the established recruiting connects that Stans. and MSU have in place in the Magnolia State.

I believe Kennedy will be succesful for a couple reasons: he's a native of Miss. He has a passion for the Rebels and for basketball...in short, EXACTLY what you guys need. I'm not certain how much of a commitment the Rebel athletic department has in basketball....it'd be a real shame to let this opportunity go to waste. See...Rob Evans....he was the man. I don't remember what happened there...didn't he take a job out in Zona? Rod Barnes...he's like Tubby Smith....the ultimate AC. Both are defensive geniuses....but Rod was not the guy to get the Rebels out of mediocrity....I truly believe Kennedy is.

Brady won't be at LSU much longer....#1 prospect in the US (Greg Monroe) is from Louisiana...and as of right now...it doesn't look like Brady can land him. Brady had his magical run to the Final Four...but that's all LSU's gonna get outta him.

Jeff Lebo at Auburn....he's just at the wrong place at the wrong time. He hasn't had enough talent for me to truly evaluate his skills...frankly, I'm not impressed.

So I'm saying w/those 2 not really in the mix these days...Ole Miss automatically steps up. W/Kennedy....you guys remain competitive w/Arkansas who's made steps to stay in the game, and MSU and Alabama....who have stellar recruiters running their show and IMO are currently the class of the SEC West.

If Kennedy steps up his recruiting to Oxford...there's no question his coaching ability will bring about some of the best times ya'll have ever seen on the hardwood.


Forgot to add...if you'll recall...when the Cats went to Oxford for our SEC opener this past season....as you'll recall...it was a close one. I remember ya'll also gave Florida a helluva game. Like I've said....he knows how to coach. Get the talent to Oxford, the Rebels will go far.

Early collected a number of postseason honors, including Sun Belt Conference Coach of the Year and District 8 Coach of the Year by National Association of Basketball Coaches. He was also a finalist for the Hugh Durham Mid-Major Coach of the Year Award. In the school's first season of Sun Belt play, Early guided a ULM (18-14) team picked in the league's pre-season poll to finish last in the seven-team West Division to an 11-7 divisional record and co-West Division title with Arkansas State.

I believe it is a very long shot for Early to pick up the gig though.

I really get cantankerous around this time of year because we have to listen to fans of teams like UVA and North Carolina talk about "this is our year". Then I have to let them know their team couldn't even fart in the SEC.

Agree.....uscrebel, fernando, cocky4ever, Beeds, and Colonel Kurtz are several posters I miss seeing on here on a regular basis (I'm sure I'm inadvertently leaving out a couple). They'll make the occasional post, but they used to be some of our regulars and are sorely missed.
