Proud to say this Alabama boy is 100% Dixie! I'm not surprised because I grew up in the country and was raised by my Grandmother, so my dialect is more old south than most folks my age. My wife is from Birmingham and even she notices my accent.

Yep. High school: Southside Rebels. Mascott: Johnny Reb. I think the Rebel flag harkens to gentlemanly behavior and sweet tea, not racism. I'm glad I passed the test. I mean, you fail if you're less than 50% southern right? ;)

44% dixie, barely a yankee, which is funny since I lived in the south a grand total of about a year. haha The western accent is similar, i suppose, to some degree

Similar here. I've lived every year of my life in Georgia but my father's whole family is from Ohio. I think I was 53%, or something like that.
