SEATTLE -- Sam Presti was hired as general manager of the Seattle SuperSonics, and one of his first jobs will be to replace fired coach Bob Hill.
The 30-year-old San Antonio assistant general manager replaces Rick Sund, who was demoted to consultant after Seattle's 31-51 season. Presti also will prepare for the upcoming NBA draft on June 28, when the Sonics have the No. 2 pick.

He comes from the Spurs organization so that is a plus right off the bat. But the fact that he is just 30-year's old is kind of crazy. Maybe they are hoping he works out like Theo Epstein in Boston.
