Fellow Georgia fans, how satisfied are you with Mark Richt as coach as of now.
For right now I am pretty satisfied with Mark, but the 07 and 08 seasons could very well sway my opinion.
Richt has obviously done a great job at Georgia, he's won 2 SEC Championships in 6 years and had the same exact team as Florida had this year back in 02' except, Florida got the benefit of Southern Cal losing to UCLA. But I think he has to do better or his career will be viewed as a disappointment. At schools like Georgia it's NT or bust; and that is the way it should be. Georgia is a football factory. I certainly can't name 10 better places to coach.
Can you?

I am extremely pleased with him. You always want to play for the national championship and we will soon. We had one chance a few years ago, but didn't get any help from other teams. Plus we lost to Florida.
I think he has us back in the hunt. When you win the SEC, you are in the hunt. The next couple of years will show that. If we can get over the FL hump and get a little help from the other conferences.

YES.
If he wants to end his coaching career here I would be very pleased.

He has certainly made us greedy. With what I've seen in my lifetime, I hope he retires here. It's hard to go 11-2 every year so 2002-5 was sweet. Considering all the changes over the last year, I look forward to the results.

I am very satisfied with CMR. He appears to be making the transition into a veteran coach now that he has given up the reins as the offensive coordinator.
Being a head coach at a major university is very similar to being the CEO of a major corporation. He cant micromanage and be successful. He has proven that he can delegate responsibilities in an orderly fashion. He obviously sees a lot of talent and potential in Bobo. As long as he is head coach, we will have quality assistant coaches come through the ranks.
We havent won the big National Championship game, but I wouldnt want any other coach running our team.

I wouldn't trade Richt for the world. I think he's a great coach, and I think we are only going to get better with him relinquishing playcalling to bobo and taking time off to recruit more actively. I think CMR is going to get us an NC sometime soon.

Richt has been great, there only been a handfull of questionable calls on his part, but no one is perfect. He has really brought the UGA program up from the ashes and made them a national powerhouse.

Im extremely satisfied with what Mark Richt has done his first 6 seasons at Georgia. He had a national championship caliber team back in 2002 that just fell short. We have represented the SEC East in Atlanta in 3 of his 6 seasons and have won the SEC Championship twice already. He knows how to recruit and he is a very likeable(sp?) guy.

i'd want to keep him on if he dipped under .500
there are thugs at every school who want change, but the example he sets for our players is incredible. for every player who is a bonehead, 50 more go on to be successful business leaders, husbands, and fathers...
