UT vs. UK at Neyland Stadium in 1972 was mine. UT won 17-7.

*That victory earned UT a trip to the Bluebonnet Bowl, where they defeated LSU 24-17.

2000 Tennessee at South Carolina

Carolina lost 14-17 :thumbsdow

In fact, I've seen the Gamecocks go 1-4 against SEC teams...with the only victory the Florida win in 2005 (what a great day!!)

I have been only to one SEC game. It technically wasn't a SEC game but it was a SEC oppenent. 2003 Capital One Bowl, PSU against Auburn. Auburn unfortuantly won 13-7.

First major college game I ever went to was Penn State -vs- West Virginia sometime during the mid '80s. The first Alabama game I attended was Alabama -vs- Vandy and I believe it was during Curry's first year.

Florida vs Auburn...1980...we won 21-10. I was 8 yrs old.....pretty sure it was on my older sister's birthday, November 1st. Great game, great atmosphere.

Another interesting stat...I've never witnessed the Gators lose in the Swamp...never. And I've been to over 50 games. I have, unfortunately witnessed my Gators lose in Tallycrappy, though...once and tied once.

I can't remember the exact year, but I was in 3-4 grade and my dad took the family to see Bama play at Vandy.

My mom tells me that I spent the entire trip to Nashville complaining about being dragged to this game, and then proceeded to spend the entire trip back home asking when we could go see another game.

Yeah id probably get beat up or something if I said the stuff down there that I post here. Luckily, I'm a shy/quiet person so that would never happen.

You can say what you want, when you are at a home game. It doesn't show a lot of class, but you can get away with it. I try to treat visiting fans, as I would a guest in my home. At away games, you better mind your manners.

I've been to over 100 games. One stretch of nearly 15 years that I never missed a home game. Home games, away games, and bowl games...been to them all. Rarely do you see a major problem.

I've only had two problems in all the games I've been to. Once I came back from The Strip (Cumberland Ave.) before the game, and a bunch of my fellow Vol fans were using the hood of a girlfriends car for a dining table. The other time I had to go after a mouthy Gator fan with a whiskey bottle.

I've had a lot fans tell me that they were treated better at UT, than any other stadium they had been to. Georgia fans have always been very cordial, and I've been to Sanford Stadium 5 0r 6 times.

UA/UT 1981, I was too young to remember a whole lot about it. Since, I have been to about 20 Conference games and maybe 20 more out of conference games. Only SEC game other than Bama was AU/UF 1991.

florida @ ut in 2002. Probably the "rainiest" game in UT football history. I think ut fumbled 7 times. UF wins 30-13.

Nope! I was there for that one. I posted the rainiest game in college history in the most memorable game thread.

31-14 win UT vs. UF 1992. It will forever be known as The Rain Game

Beautiful day, until about the 2nd quarter. A really ugly cloud moved over Neyland. The sky opened and dumped 4 inches of rain in 30 minutes. When the sky opened up, so did Reggie Cobb and the UT offense.

Never seen it rain that hard in my life, either before or since. However, not a single fan of either team left the stadium.

Neyland has excellent drainage, but the players on the sideline were literally standing in water over their ankles.

Then, as quickly as the rain appeared, it disappeared. Sky turned a beautiful blue, and not another drop fell.

My first SEC game was Ole Miss vs Auburn 2003. It was Eli Manning's last year and it was a great game.

Very disappointing end though...Auburn drove the ball down the field with time running out. Last play of the game Campbell threw like a 6 yard lob pass to a WIDE OPEN Obamanu in the right side of the endzone, hit Obamanu in the chest pad and the ball bounced right out of his hands. Game over, Auburn loses by like 5 if memory serves.

I remember it vividly, I was sitting in the teacher's section (was dating a girl who's dad was a professor at Auburn) and when Campbell rolled out I saw Obamanu standing wide open in the endzone. It was like the Ole Miss players didn't even notice him. I started cheering wildy before the pass was even thrown, grabbing my girl etc, only to look up and see it bounce off his chest.

Was like air being let out of a balloon.

Oh well, the last game I attended was LSU vs. Auburn 2006! By far one of the greatest games to have attended ever. Bone crunching hits all game long, great view from the student section, nail biting pressure/tension the whole game. Can't beat it!!!
