I don't see as Donovan lied about anything. Saban on the other hand is a known liar.

BP, I don't think this poll will have the results that you desire.

I don't see where Donavan ever lied Perry.

He never came out and said "I am not going to the NBA or the Magic".

Not sure the purpose behind this poll.

Donovan not interested in Orlando job

BY DAVID JONES
FLORIDA TODAY ADVERTISEMENT

GAINESVILLE — While questions continued to circulate the day after Brian Hill was fired as coach of the Orlando Magic, Florida’s Billy Donovan issued a statement today saying he’s not interested in any other job.

Donovan said his only interest remains in coaching the Gators.

"My focus is on coaching at the University of Florida,” said Donovan, whose stature skyrocketed after leading UF to back-to-back national titles. "I look forward to sitting down with Jeremy (Foley) and Dr. (Bernie) Machen and finalizing a contract in the very near future.”

Foley, the Gators’ athletic director who hired Donovan 11 years ago, said last week he’s confident Donovan will remain in Gainesville. He was also briefly courted by Kentucky after this year’s Final Four.

Despite Donovan’s claims of wishing to remain at UF and that a contract is about to be completed, rumors have continued.

"You’ve got a quality coach, people want . . . half that stuff is people making it up,” Foley told the Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville last week. "People throw rumors out there to see what sticks. They hear things, they write articles about it, the next thing you know in this day and age it becomes fact. That’s just part of the deal too.

"I don’t worry about that. The University of Florida doesn’t worry about that. Billy’s made it pretty clear he’s committed to the University of Florida, so I can’t help rumors and never have worried about rumors.”

School officials and Donovan are close to finalizing a long-term agreement that could approach $3 million a year.

Alabama lured Saban from the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday, ending five weeks of denials and two days of deliberation. Saban, who two weeks ago declared "I'm not going to be the Alabama coach," accepted the Tide's job offer job and abandoned his attempt to rebuild the Dolphins after only two seasons.

Saban lie? NEVER!

Gonna have to go with Saban. He repeated over and over "I will not go to Alabama." Then as we all saw, he did.

Saban was asked several times if he was interested in coaching Alabama. The Nicktator went as far to even criticise the integrity of the reporters for asking him the question.

And then there was the infamous quote from Saban, ""I'm not going to be the Alabama coach."

As of right now, 94.74% of us are hypocrites, and you are the only upstanding poster in the place.

I think that deserves an award, but I'm sorry. We're fresh out of big gold stars.

if you ever put saban in a picture with clinton again.... i will hunt your female cousins down and marry them (regardless of how ugly they are) and give them ugly children as well as show up at your family reunions at the work camp.
keep it civil... or else.
