John Smoltz's injury

Did anyone see what happened. I read that he tweaked his pinky/shoulder. The injuries were described as minor so thats good news.

He hit a sharp line drive off the end of the bat (which broke the bat). This injured his dislocated pinky to some degree. Next, when he was warming up the following inning on the mound he slipped after a pitch and strained his shoulder. Nothing major and he expects to make his next start. :thumpsup:

Sweet! I did not hear that but thats good news. Hudson is getting ready to start this afternoon. I think I saw it is a 1:05 start. Go Braves!

Good news about Smoltz........Smoltz is expected to make his next scheduled start on Sunday. He felt fine after playing catch Wednesday before Atlanta's game against Milwaukee.
