Mine would have to be beating LSU 36-21 in Baton Rouge 1997 the week after they knocked off #1 Florida. I remember all the Ole Miss fans went down to their end zone and the band played Dixie over and over again. We had a great time partying inside Tiger stadium until the police had to kick over 3,000 drunk Rebels out. Great memories.

31-14 win UT vs. UF 1992. It will forever be known as The Rain Game

Beautiful day, until about the 2nd quarter. A really ugly cloud moved over Neyland. The sky opened and dumped 4 inches of rain in 30 minutes. When the sky opened up, so did Reggie Cobb and the UT offense.

Never seen it rain that hard in my life, either before or since. However, not a single fan of either team left the stadium.

Neyland has excellent drainage, but the players on the sideline were literally standing in water over their ankles.

Then, as quickly as the rain appeared, it disappeared. Sky turned a beautiful blue, and not another drop fell.

Not the most memorable for me but I do have to bring this up. It was the game we found out mother nature dislikes Missst and blew the perfectly kicked, straight down the middle, game winning field goal back to the ten yard line making a wtf victory.

After thinking about it, the most memorable game for me was acturally a loss. Ole Miss vs Alabama when Archie was QB. One of the most exciting games I was ever to witness.

I remember that. One of my best friends older brother played on that Rebel team. He said they were counting fingers (only way they can count) to tick off the final seconds and several fingers had been bitten half off is what the prob was. four, three and a half, three, two and a half, two, one and three quarters, one and a half, one, a half, a quarter, zero.

LMFAO

btw-my fav game was beating ole miss 40-7 in 2005 in their own backyard so they had no excuse as to why they lost

My favorite would have to be the Auburn game from 1990; Spurrier's first year in the SEC with the Gators. Nobody in the SEC had any idea what was about to happen to them. I had just married my wife, whose whole family (except for one smart cousin who went to UF) are AU alumni; and we sat down to watch the first game between our teams since getting hitched. We were drinking Wild Turkey and Budweiser boiler-makers for an hour before game time, and we were both talking some serious sh*t. Of course, at that time, AU had won SEC titles and UF hadn't; and AU had been a bigger program than UF. They had beaten us the 3 previous meetings.

Well, Spurrier unleashed the Fun 'N' Gun, and started the game throwing a long bomb. I think we scored in less than a minute. He continued to chuck the ball all over the field for the whole game. Dye kept looking around with wide eyes, like somebody should be calling Spurrier for cheating. His game plan (the same one all SEC teams used at that time) of run it up the middle, was failing miserably. By halftime, my wife was screaming at the T.V., as if Dye could hear her if she screamed loud enough. By the third quarter, she'd quit yelling at Dye and the Tigers, and was hollering that that sorry POS, Spurrier, was running up the score. The Gators were scoring at will... even with 2nd and 3rd stringers.

At the end of the blood-letting, Florida had won 48-7; and the guys on the AU sideline looked shell-shocked. Like they didn't have any idea what had just happened. It was priceless. The wife had gone to bed long before the final insult. I made sure I woke her up to tell her the final score... especially after all the flak I'd gotten at the hands of her family. Needless to say, my son wasn't conceived that night... or during the following 2 weeks. It was worth it.

Being a Bama fan, too many to count. However, the Bama/AUtard game in '85 was great. Da barn goes down to score a TD with like 35 seconds left. Their tard fans were going crazy. A couple of plays later and Van Tiffin is kicking a 50+ yd. FG to win the game. SWEET!

2001

South Carolina 37
Alabama 36

It was one of those game where we just got completely whipped. By the grace of God, Alabama didn't beat us 49-7. Tyler Watts ran for about 700 yards on us with the option. We couldn't stop anyone, and our offense couldn't run the ball. If it were a typical day, Williams-Brice Stadium would have been empty by the end of the third quarter . . . but Bama just wouldn't put us away.

Carolina was down 12 with about 5 minutes to go and came out in the spread. We started throwing the ball around, scored a quick touchdown, stuffed Bama for probably only the second time, and then scored another quick touchdown. Our tight end Rod Trafford caught the touchdown pass to tie the game. It was his only catch of the year.

Unreal game. Our first victory over the Tide.

Most Memorable Positive Game:
Beating Georgia last season and tearing down the goalposts. Freakin sweet.

Most Memorable Negative Game:
The Bluegrass Nightmare, or Mardi Gras Miracle, depending on which side you're on. LSU's miracle comeback against UK in 02 or 03. Absolute garbage, that was.

Mine would have to be the 2005 version of TWLOCP. UF scored on their first two posessions making it 14-0 early in the first. Then UF marched within a few yards of the goal line on their third posession and fumbled the ball, turning it over. UF never scored again but won the game 14-10.
It was my favorite b/c the tone was set for a blowout and if UF didnt fumble the ball on their third posession and scord a TD instead, it very well could have been a blowout. But UGA played very tough the rest of the game and it became a defensive battle for the remaining 3 quarters. A nail-biter all the way.

UT vs. Ark 1998 was pretty memorable. When Clint Stoener tripped and fumbled. We marched down the field with only seconds on the clock.

I'll admit I missed the play. I was packing up my headphones when my then wife screamed, "HE FUMBLED". Never pack the headphones up until game is over.

I'm a younger Bama fan so I wasn't around back in the days of Coach Bryant, and unfortunately I've witnessed more bad years than good ones, but some of my personal favorites:

1996 Iron Bowl - Gene Stallings says goodbye with a last-minute victory over the Auburn Tigers. The Tide was led to victory by the heroic efforts of Dennis Riddle and, of all people...Freddie Kitchens??

1999 Bama/UF - Bama ends the Gators home winning streak (at the time, it was the longest in college football) with a dramatic overtime win.

1999 Bama/UF Part II - The Tide's most recent SEC Championship. Alabama beats Florida and Spurrier twice in one season.

2001 Iron Bowl - It's been way too long. The Crimson Tide, as a heavy underdog, traveled to Jordan-Hare and whipped the Tigers 31-7 in Andrew Zow's highlight game. We haven't won since.

2005 Bama/UT - One of the best defensive battles I can remember. Roman Harper forever etched his name into the Crimson record books with his hit on Corey Anderson that forced a fumble, setting up Jamie Christensen's game-winning FG and sending the Vols' back home, defeated.

Nice question.

Hated that game.....not just because we lost, I got pretty use to that during Zookster's short tenure...but because the refs completely screwed the pooch and cost us the game.....pretty sure it's the only time to date that the SEC Commish came out and apologized for officiating.

I do have mixed feelings now that I think about it a little more, had UF won the game...Zook probably retains his job and we endure another 5-loss season...so, I guess I should be thanking rather than condemning the refs...

If they can get this win everything they hoped to attain in pre-season is still available. But only if they win this game. The Auburn Tigers, undefeated, their in the mist of a magical run. Anything is possible, a SEC Title, a possible National Championship. But only if they win this game. Heres the context, neither team can afford to lose, and one will.

Yeah, I didn't think of the age factor. I'm 26 and I love my team's tradition as much as the next guy, but I also know we aren't top-dog in the SEC anymore and haven't been for some time. I'm just happy to be old enought to remember the Stallings years. I think the younger gen is more realistic in their expectations for Bama. Although my uncle is in his 50's, has been a Bama fan his whole life, and ALWAYS plays devil's advocate before every season. I guess there are exceptions to every rule.

Unfortunatly I wasn't born yet, but my father was there and talks about it often. Not as often as LSU working their own clock in Baton Rouge, but often enough.

I was at that game too.

LSU hadn't lost a game yet that year. The score was Ole' Miss 16 - LSU 10. Bert Jones had moved the Tigers from their 20 yard line to the Ole' Miss 4 yard line in less than two minutes completing two fourth down passes for first downs during the drive. There were four seconds on the clock.

http://images.pictopia.com.edgesuite.net/perl/get_image?provider_id=426&ptp_photo_id=800351&size=320x320_mb
Bert Jones vs Ole' Miss in 1972

LSU ran two plays in the last four seconds. The first play was a pass by Bert Jones to Jimmy LeDoux (#1) on the goal line . The line of scrimmage was the four yard line and the pass was incomplete. It was a very quick play, Jones basically took the snap took one step and fired the ball to LeDoux, who never got his hands on the ball, it hit him in the chest and bounced down to the turf almost immediately. And the clock stopped with one second on it. And I will guess that with today's clock there would have been less than a half second (0:00.05) left to play.

On the last play, the clock started as the ball was snapped and the horn sounded as Jones got the ball from center, he passed to Brad Davis in the left flat right in front of the Ole' Miss section in the southeast corner and Davis fell into the end zone right where the goal line met the east sideline. And every rebel flag that was being waved at a frenzied pace in the Ole' Miss section during the play seemed to disappear. Game tied 16-16! Then LSU kicked the extra point to win the game, 17-16.

Soon after the game, someone posted a sign on the Louisiana state line that read "You are entering Louisiana, set your clocks back four seconds" ! And that spring the Ole Miss yearbook showed the score as Ole Miss 16, LSU 10+7.

The following year LSU beat Ole' Miss in Jackson by 51 to 14 and on Monday the LSU Daily Revielle listed the score as "Ole Miss 14 - LSU 10+7+3+7+3+7+7+7".

Don't you love college sports!

There are so many good games to choose from, but my favorites would be:

UGA v. USC where USC was up by several touchdowns. In came Robert Edwards at RB and low and behold, UGA comes back to win it in Columbia.

UGA v. UT 2001. First win in Knoxville in several years. You could see the players following in Richt's calmness, confidence, and belief. It has been a staple over the years.

The Third Saturday in October, in the year of our Lord, 2003. Alabama, Tennessee, 5OT's, enough said.

I second that. Me and my buddies were at that game and were actually the very last fans to leave the stadium. we were so drained we just sat there. Awesome game.

It was Mark Richt's first SEC road game as Georgia's coach, and he was taking David Greene, a redshirt freshman, to play in one of college football's most hostile environments. The Bulldogs had lost five in a row at Tennessee and hadn't won at Knoxville since 1980 -- Herschel Walker's freshman season.

After a timeout, Richt made one of the most creative play calls I've ever seen. Greene took the snap and faked a handoff. Fullback Verron Haynes acted as if he was going to block a linebacker, but no one picked him up in pass coverage. So Greene lofted a soft pass to Haynes in the back of the end zone for a 6-yard touchdown with five seconds left.
