The South isn't as loaded at the top as it was last year, but rest assured, the SEC will raid the other parts of the country and dominate this list, as usual.

Boy, according to this, UGA is off to a terrific start (5 verbals in the list). Congrats.

Georgia is going to have a terrific class. The one unfortunate thing is that I'm hearing A.J. Green has no shot of qualifying. Before I get yelled at for "sour grapes", let me say that I hope all of these kids get into school and that they get to play for their school of choice. I'm hearing A.J. is destined for a JUCO. Regardless, UGA is doing a very good job early on. The state of Georgia is loaded this year. It may be the best state per capita for prospects in the South this year.

I didn't realize AJ Green was from SC. Is Spurrier even offering him a scholarship, or is he focusing on other prospects? Unfortunately for us (LSU fans), Louisiana is appreciably down this year as far as talent goes (according to rivals and scout, anyway). I guess we'll have to go nationwide to fill our needs. Fortunately, Miles proved that he could do this last year. I hope he has success with it again this year.

Yep, I misspelled scholarship. How ironic.

Where did you hear that about AJ. Same thing with Caleb King though and he got in a couple days ago. These kids have a whole year and summer to get the classes they need to get into their school. I see no problem with AJ getting eligible the kid has this summer next summer and the whole fall school year to be ready for UGa.

SOS is going after AJ's QB pretty good. My guess is in the hopes of landing both. WB I'm sure knows more.

Wow I knew AJ would be a 5 star but #4 overall.

Wow.

Is there any article on the fact that he may not be able to make the squad due to academics?

We definitely offered him. We wanted to place him.

Seppeh, A.J. Green was the best wide receiver in the state of South Carolina when he took the field for the first time 3 years ago as a freshman. The state has never seen a wide receiver this good. I hope he ends up making it in. I just hope he doesn't torch us.

Just about everyone who writes for Rivals has said it. If he doesn't make it in, I don't know how much you have to worry about him eventually making it to Athens. His heart is set on Georgia, and if y'all have to place him, then he'll end up in Athens in two years at the most.

Spurrier gives out scholarships. Tommy Bowden gives out the scholerships.

Sweet, we lead the way with 6 rivals 100 commitments so far. Jim Tressel could end up with the number one class next year. According to bucknuts, we are in the lead for the #1 recruit Terrelle Pryor. Hopefully we can land him, that would be huge. By the looks of this pic below, its almost a given.
