Obviously I'm going to say Ole Miss and the Grove. I've been to everyone else's stadiums but maybe I missed something. What's great about tailgaiting for your School?

THE TAILGATORS and RV City. University Ave. is already sprawling with 50,000 enrolled students. By the time everyone else is on the scene, you begin to wonder if Gainesville can hold them all. RV City is always packed with Gators from all over the country. Awesome!

The University of Tennessee has NEVER lost a party.
Several years ago Playboy named the top 10 party schools in the nation. They had the the list and didn't include UT. Why? In the words of Playboy Magazine, "when it come to a party, Tennessee stands alone at the top".

I love the way LSU fans get after it. I like their fans (which might change after the hiring of Saban) but they are all so friendly and not scared to offer you some food when you are walking by. Not to mention I must give the edge to anyone that serves budan balls on a weekly basis.

I'll give a nod to UGA for friendliness to visiting fans.
These Auburn fans look like a pretty good bunch of fellows.

the grove is a glorified picnic monitored by Nazi stormtroopers. Tenn parties pretty damn good, but i wouldn't call it tailgating (btw-LSU has been #1 in playboy's party school 3 times). the only school close to LSU for fan turn-out, atmosphere, good times, alcohol consumption, good food, and team support is Flor. that doesn't mean i don't like tailgating at UGA and Bama; they just pale by comparision. take in consideration, i haven't been to columbia yet (scheduled for 2008)

Nothing is worse than the UF mullet pic. I will save that one forever. So two guys went to take a leak before the pic. I guess that means Alabama fans cannot spell. The tight jean shorts/mullet combo is so typical of Florida fans...seen it MANY times...especially the jean shorts!!!!

I have never been to Baton Rouge, but by all accounts it is the best, and I know last year when they came to Knoxville they brought a helluva party, I can't even imagine what they do at home. I also had a great time at Auburn a couple of years back, everybody there was cordial. Don't sleep on the TN mountain land though, we know how to throw down too.

From what Ive heard, LSU tailgating offers the best food you will ever eat so they get my vote.
I think one of the best "singe game" tailgaiting experiences you will ever have is at TWLOCP. Just ask any UGA/UF fan who's been before.

That's pretty much what I hear too. I'll be going to both of those games this year, so I'll definitely let yall know how it is.

A bunch of idiots.
Idiots? Why are they idiots? Because they don't hero worship a coach who has been dead for over a quarter of century?
Here is the deal. The vast majority of us, don't believe that Bear is sitting at God's right hand. DEAL WITH IT!

One thing is for sure, nearly all SEC schools' tailgaiting completely owns outside conferences. Totally different experience when you go to a Big 12 or Big 10 game.

They didn't really change the name. Everyone still knows it as the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail party, but the networks aren't supposed to use that moniker to refer to the game anymore.

UGA and friendliness do not belong in the same sentence. I think you are insane. My best friend went to UGA so I have been to a bunch of their games, (two as an opposing fan) and even having many friends there...not friendly. Obnoxious, absolutely. Rabid, yes. Friendly, no. But I like it that way. I think most people in Columbia are too nice to opposing fans ( minus clemson). By the way, I always enjoyed walking past all those neo-christian "you are going to die because you are drunk" people who have jesus on a cross and are yelling at everybody as they go into the stadium. What the hell is the deal with that?
Anyway, I can't wait to go to Baton Rouge this year. I'm excited about our team and I'm excited about going to play LSU in the bayou. It should make for an incredible weekend.

I wouldn't think so. UGA is the only place I've ever seen something like that. I guess it's because there is a crazy church right next to the stadium that they all gather at. It's weird as hell.

As far as UGA fans, I think it's very different at the WLOCP than at any other time. My girlfriend and I just up and decided to drive down to the WLOCP one year ('96), and try to buy tickets outside the gate. We actually ran across a UGA fan who had a family emergency, and was trying to sell his tix. He sold them to us; and not only didn't he try to gouge us, he sold us both tix for the face value of one. Of course, being a Dawg fan, the seats were smack dab in the middle of the student section. Decked out in orange and blue, saying we stood out would be the understatement of the year. There was plenty of smack talk before kickoff, and part of the first quarter. But then Spurrier started hanging TD's on them like he was decorating a Christmas tree. By halftime, we were up by thirtysomething, and the whimpering puppies were resigned to drinking bourbon, instead of barking. We all partied together from halftime on; finally winning 47-7. Of course, UF had won the previous 2 years by scores of 52-14 and 52-17; so, they weren't as vocal once they saw it was going the same way.
Now, I've shared before that it's an entirely different story, living here in Atlanta. There is no shortage of rednecks leaning out of their pickup barking as they pass. I think what I said was that it wouldn't be so bad if they didn't spit their chaw juice on the car when they tried to bark. And, the guys do some pretty unsavory stuff, too.;)

I think main problem with some UGA fans is that there are so many bandwagon fans that have no affiliation with the school. I'm not saying thats a bad thing, I'm sure theres many people on this board who didn't attend the school they cheer for. However, I think the obnoxious, barking out the truck window, nasty drunks that give UGA a bad name are not students or alumni. True UGA fans have class, but theres a bunch of georgia boys out there who cheer for the dawgs just to start trouble.
I imagine this problem exists to a degree at every school, but it just manifests itself in a bad way around Athens

I'd be inclined to agree, although that comes across as a little homerish without any support behind it.
