This was done on the Rivals Main Board a little while back, but in response to one of Grady's posts:

Everybody knows that Austin wants to be Knoxville.

Take a peek, Grady. You are vastly outnumbered in your opinion. I'd be ashamed of myself as a SEC fan.

As of this writing, Tennessee's JUCO signee, S Nevin McKenzie from Athens Valley Trinity Community College in Texas, has been ruled ineligible due to a recruiting violation during an official visit. Here are some details from govolsxtra.com:
"The recruiting violation involved food and lodging for the recruit's sister Jan. 10-12, according to UT's report, which was obtained through an open-record's request by the News Sentinel. UT became aware of the violation when the SEC notified the school that it had received a report regarding impermissible expenses.

Oh, that sucks bad. We really needed Nevin.

No, UTk said it was a "mistake" and they thought his sister was his guardian! :) Filed as a secondary violation. What do you think is worse, saying a couple of xtra words on a recruiting visit or this? The guy signed with UTk.

In all honesty, I would say this is a worse violation. Not much debate there. If he's inelligible, does it really matter whether or not it was a secondary violation or not?

that's the point. He was reinstated and his sister had to pay back the money. That was it! If this would have been Saban & Bama, it would have made national sports news. That's my point. Secondary violations are reported dozens of times a year by teams, they just usually don't make the news.

Oh, hell yeah. Still, have to agree. It would be a more serious violation. I aint sayin' that what Saban did was that big of a deal, but to say the only reason it's being discussed is because he's Saban and you're Bama, well that is a little conceited IMO. You freaked me out, Perry. I went on Volquest and tried to find out more and everything.

He meant to post it on the Bama Submits Report thread. A forgiveable error considering it's Perry.

When I think of UT, I think of:

Seriously though, UT is Tennessee and Texas is Texas. I'm not sure what you'd consider more prestigious, though.

Conceited? No. Justifiably paranoid? YES! :brick:

Justifiable paranoia? Hmmm......So just because I think everyone's out to get me doesn't mean they aren't?
