Cory Boyd Investigation Question

Ok, whats the scoop ? Dose anyone know what gives with the Cory Boyd Investigation ?
Can anyone shed any light on this situation?

Has he been cleared, if so when? If not how much longer will this thing linger.

I thought something would have been settled by now. I started reading the other thread but it was turning into a our coach vs your coach thread so I tuned out of that BS, and didn't read the whole thing.

it's all just rumors and hearsay at this point. the case is still definitely open, and as i understand it boyd has not been cleared of anything yet. considering this is an incident that was seemingly witnessed by several people i would think there must be some witnesses saying it was definitely boyd with the gun and others saying it was definitely not boyd.

we may never really know what happened, but hopefully the truth will come out eventually. either cory is guilty and needs to be punished or he's innocent and should be exonerated so it doesn't hang over him in the future.

Richland County Sherrif's Department Captain Joseph Pellici said Wednesday night (May 2) his department is still investigating a claim that USC running back Cory Boyd fired a gun into the air at a party last month in Columbia. No arrests have been made in the case. A witness at the party identified Boyd as the shooter of the gun but no other witness has yet to support that claim. Pellici said his department still has a few more witnesses to interview before rendering a final report.

Thanks, I appreciate the info. I'd hate to see him kicked off the team. I guess we'll just have to wait a little longer to see how the investigation turns out. I know he must be sitting on pins and needles right now wondering what the final report will say or not say.
