Vs. Eastern Kentucky - Win, Finally the Kats can start the season without a loss (usually to UofL).
Vs. Kent - Win, UK's 3rd stringers get some playing time in the third.
Vs. Louisville - Loss, the Cards continue their streak against the Kats.
@ Arkansas - Loss, but it's going to be a fun game to watch.
Vs. Florida Atlantic - Win, It should be anyway.
@ South Carolina - Loss, but like with ARK, it'll be fun to watch.
Vs. LSU - Loss, not even close.
Vs. Florida - Loss, UF dominated on the court, they'll do the same on the gridiron.
Vs. Miss. State - Win, UK gets homefield advantage.
@ Vanderbilt - Win, could be close.
@ Georgia - Loss, UGA returns the favor in Lexington.
Vs. Tennessee - Loss, UK won't play the Vols nearly as well as they did last year.

5-7 seems like it will be the concensus for the Kats.

Oct. 20, 2007 Florida Loss
(close first half)

Oct. 27, 2007 Miss. State Loss (Cats get shocked by the Bulldogs and put a wrench in Cats bowl possibilities. Bulldogs by two TD's

Here's my take:
Sept. 1, 2007 Eastern Kentucky - WIN. EKU is a solid pigskin school at their level, but UK will win. This isn't a UK team of seasons past folks.

Sept. 8, 2007 Kent State - WIN. I'm aware they are a pretty good MAC team, but still, tune-up #2 for what should STILL :brick: be our opener (UK's fault, not Loserville's) against the Tards of Loserville.

Sept. 15, 2007 Louisville - WIN. I justify this by saying we will have had two games under our belts, our players will remember last year, and in the scheme of things, we're due for one ('02 was the last time we beat 'em I believe) U of L is talented, but they are w/out Michael Bush, and we aren't a bad football team. U of L also has Kragthorpe, not Petrino.

Sept. 22, 2007 at Arkansas - LOSS. I'd love to have another rematch of the 6OT w/the Hogs, hell, I'd love to make the trip to Fayetteville as I've never been to Arkansas, but I think the Cats will fall.

Sept. 29, 2007 Florida Atlantic WIN. Schnellenberger ain't got **** on UK. Just ask Louisville.

Oct. 4, 2007 at South Carolina - WIN. I really don't wanna waste time trying to justify this to the USC fans. Anyone who underestimates us after watching us last year and seeing what we did to Clemson and Georgia is foolish.

Oct. 13, 2007 LSU - LOSS. Hopefully they'll make it painful early instead of having a repeat of the Bluegrass Nightmare.

Oct. 20, 2007 Florida - LOSS. This isn't basketball...we won't argue w/the Gayturds here.

Oct. 27, 2007 Miss. State - WIN. Like I said....win.

Nov. 10, 2007 at Vanderbilt - WIN. UK-Vandy is a rivalry game, but it doesn't seem to get the billing because we usually suck so much. Still, I believe the series is tied at like 39-38-2 in UK's favor. You can't get much more of a rivalry than that. Anyway, I just think we have more talent than they do. Woodson, Lyons, Burton, Little, Tamme, etc.

Nov. 17, 2007 at Georgia - LOSS. Yeah, I wanna say win, and we could pull it off, but I'll agree w/the UGA fans, they ain't gonna let it happen twice in a row.

Nov. 24, 2007 Tennessee - WIN. It simply has to end this year. This foolishness w/the Urnge needs to stop.

OK...well going through the schedule, it looks like I have us going 8-4, and w/our talent it is quite possible. But I believe we're going to go 7-5. Either the U of L, USC, or UT game we'll probably drop. Hell, we could drop all of them. Who knows. Just remember, most of our guys are coming back from last year. We are talented. Don't count out Kentucky in football this year.

Dude, I said 7-5. Do you have nothing better to do than harass someone about their picks? I gave reasons for why I felt the way I did. I don't think I owe you an explanation of how or why I picked the way the season will turn out, or why you need to get on my case about it. To me it's just football, I'm more concerned w/how our basketball team is going to do.

Smack talking a UK fan about football is like trying to smack talk a MSU fan or Vandy, or for that matter bragging that you won a gold medal in the special olympics when you yourself aren't crippled. Congratulations......

When you post it on a public forum, you are in a sense, opening the door for responses. Don't start crying because someone asked you to explain your reasoning for your choices.

I don't think I owe you an explanation of how or why I picked the way the season will turn out, or why you need to get on my case about it. To me it's just football, I'm more concerned w/how our basketball team is going to do.

Once again, see the response above. The "Clemson" remark you made was to provoke a confrontation or to "Prop" up your argument. When I retorted on the history of the series, then you started whining about getting grilled over your picks.

Like I said, when you posted your predictions on an open forum, you're inviting comments concerning your picks.

I have to give Kentucky credit for being tough at home. On our last two trips up there, we've won only by the hair of our chinny-chin-chin; one was the infamous blue-grass miracle. They could surprise some of us, for sure.
