First of all, good to see you again KN. Second, Coach Robinson was always one of my favorite coaches. Breaking color/racial barriers in the south was a crowning achievement in the college football universe.

Not only a fine coach, but a fine human being. He respected everybody and he was respected by everybody.

huge man in the sport.............reading today about him at one time having to stripe the fields, no assistants whatsoever, making sandwiches for the bus on road trips because they couldnt eat in white restaurants

He had to over come some horrible times, not just as a black coach, but as a black man. Heard today that he sent more than 200 players to the NFL. That is truly amazing. The world, not just Grambling, lost a true icon. Rest in peace "COACH".

Can you Image if he had the facilities and sources that Bowden and Paterno had?! If he had them CER would've put the all time win record away!!!!! Eddie Robinson took more pride in being a life coach instead of Football Coach. God Bless the Robinson family and RIP Eddie Robinson

Class act. Grambling had about three buildings when he arrived. The campus has come a long way because of his leadership and his ability to put Gambling Football on the national map.
