Post here if you have an offer for someone, of if you just want to let people know what you need, what you are willing to trade, etc.

OK! Go ahead and give me crap for missing the whole Liriano DL thing. I think I might need some RP's. I have Carpenter, OSwalt, and Webb. Though I will want a primo Closer.

Liriano will be ready to go by next season.

I wasn't going to give you any crap, but since you asked for it. Plus, we open up the season against each other for Week 1.

Yes, we had a couple of good head-to-head battles last year. Good luck in the league.

Fun draft boys, I felt like we shared a strong connection in there kekeke

My team is almost identical as last year's. Good SP. Good in SB dept and RBI's. However as far as HR and saves are concerned, I'm screwed. No biggie on the Liriano thing. At least it was in the 11th or 12th round. LAst year I survived the Gagne, Wood, Ben Sheets DL crap and managed a 3rd place finish. At least Putz is an upgrade from freaking David Weathers:azz:

My team is pretty legit.. Damon, Jeter, Ortiz, Piazza, Schilling, a few other great guys.. just need schilling to have a healthy and strong year.

This league is deeper than last years so if you didn't have a good draft it is going to be harder to make up for it playing the "Waiver game".

My hopes rest on Prince Fielder having a breakout year and Scott Rolen going back to putting up Monster numbers. Reyes is solid in a strong Mets lineup and should wipe some bags and score early and often. It could go either way.

Sad thing is, I look at my team and have no clue how good or bad it is. I assume bad since I didn't watch the draft, but it's probably no worse than it would have been otherwise. I've made it through these Fantasy things making moves totally on the fly. However, something tells me I'm getting ready to have my @$$ handed to me.

Same here. All I know is somehow I got lucky enough to get Pujols (unless there's something about him I don't know that everyone else knows about), and I thought I heard ESPN say Clemens should be good later this year.
Otherwise, I have no idea how good any of these players on my team are.
I guess I've got some Yankees rookie from Japan on my team. You never know how well those guys do until half-way through the season.

I like my team for the most part given how I was picking toward the bottom of the draft order & scfan kept taking the players I wanted right before it was my turn. Solid if unspectacular is how I'd describe my team with a lot of my hopes hung on two Devil Ray outfielders (Young & Baldelli) to stay out of trouble and stay healthy. No more throwing bats at umpires there, Delmon.....and you Rocco, no pulling a hammy walking up the dugout stairs.

There are some good rookies that are tagged as N/A atm but will be start from Day 1. That's why I went and picked up Alex Gordon for the Royals.

If you auto-draft, the draft page just gives you the highest-ranked player available, unless you prepared a pre-draft list of players that you want. Your first pick in the draft was the draft's first overall pick, and Pujols was the #1 ranked player in the draft, so he was auto-picked for your team.

I basically followed my plan: draft heavy on the money hitters, then fill in at the pitching positions. The hitters will impact your overall stats more than the pitchers, so they take priority. I've done well in past BBFL's where my pitching at the beginning was different from my pitching at the end...

Lacene and I drafted similarly. I don't think either of us picked a starting pitcher until the 12th or 13th round. I went all power hitters and then picked up three strong closers.

Does it look like anyone has the "Best" team? After looking through them all I honestly can't tell.

I don't what the frak to do with Clemmens. He still doesn't even know if wants to play again or not.
I'm thinking, if he hasn't played any spring ball how good will he be if he even decides to play?
But with the size of our league it's way to late to pick up anyone good to replace him, so I guess I'll sit on the pine for a while.

Carpenter, OSwalt, Webb, LAckey, MAddux, and Beuhrle. Too bad the rest of my team sucks.

I have a good infield with Piazza, Jeter, Ortiz; Outfield I have Burrell and Damon, pitching I have the guy from the Padres and Schilling. Other than that a few randoms but overall I think my team is pretty balanced.

If Schilling has a big year I think I should make the playoffs.

My bats are off the charts!

Howard, Hafner, Atkins, Figgins, Ibanez, Guillen, Rios, Posada

I'm still not totally sold on my team. I'm pretty balanced all around but my weakness is the homerun department. My closers will also hurt my ERA a bit...but that's my usual strategy. I'll do fine because I'm obsessed with keeping up with this.

Tell me about it; I have to play you the first week. Figgy's got a broken finger or two so at least I won't have to contend with him that first week but all I can hope for on the rest is that Howard gets the Barry Bonds pitch-around treatment from the jump and the rest somehow forget how to get to their respective ballparks.

My team is very heavy on the sleeper/up&coming players so I'm looking squarely at a sink or swim type of season, I think. :closedeye

Wow, I've really got my work cut out for me. Is it a bad thing if I just looked at my roster and realized that I've never even heard of 10 of them? Okay, time to take a triple dose of obsession. That's the only thing that'll save me.

I wouldn't say that, I don't know about 8-9 of my guys off-hand, and a lot of my unknown guys all carry 270ish batting averages. Then again I got Big Papi and Jeter in my infield, so I guess it doesn't matter if I don't know 8 of my players.

I don't know, AUFootball24, my bats may out-chart yours. Sure, Howard & Hafner are awesome, but after them you only have one other 30-HR guy (Ibanez).

My lineup of Berkman, Dye, A. Jones,C. Jones, McCann, Thome and Swisher look pretty solid. That's (4) 40-HR guys plus (1) 30-HR guy. I'm also betting that C. Jones will have a 150-game season. If he does, he will also be around 30 HR's and 100 RBI's.

Cianne

Same here Lacene. I'm sitting pretty with Lee, Delgado, and Beltran who are all 40+ HR potential, and then there's Matsui, Bonds, and Chavez who are all 30+ HR guys if they are healthy.

Hmm, ok, time to revive this thread, since my team sucks terribly. I have to change something up. I got Upton, Giambi, another bat (your choice as long as I'm not left with nothing at a position), Belisle, and Lilly for a proven bat and a proven SP. Actually just humor me. I'm sick enough to try anything at the moment.

I'm not looking so prophetic so far.....most of my guys are laying eggs so far. Chipper's the only one that's pulled his weight to this point, but he's hitting too many solo HR's. After him is Thome, but he's been injured. Andruw is my best RBI guy, but his hitting is atrocious. I expected him to hit around .250-.260, but he's managing so far to fall below even those projections. Dye is a joke right now.

As a team, my team needs to improve their hitting averages and RBI's, drastically. My pitching is decent, so far, but my offense sucks right now....

I have some decent pitchers, but they pitch for teams that suck on offense. Today, my two starters combine for 14 innings, 2 ER.......what do they get.....a loss and a no decision.

Last week, I had two pitchers on a day combine for 16 innings, 1 ER......what did they get.....a loss and a no decision.

I sure hope my luck turns soon.

I was just wondering if any of you guys were looking to make a trade to position yourselves for the playoffs. I myself am interested in some trade possibilities. I REALLY need a bat at 1B, and also would like to have a proven SP.

In return, if you're weak at 3B, I have either Beltre or Braun, both of which have been lighting it up over the past month or so. I'm also open to trading one of my outfielders (with the exception of Byrnes), all of which are having decent (16-19 HR) seasons. If you need a little help with SVs, I will trade Capps. Most of my starters are having pretty good seasons (Santana is off-limits). Overall, I'm open to discussing just about anything.

Not sure how many of you are actually reading this thread anymore, but just let me know.
