Here's the site....just use the pull-down list to change categories.
And I have to say, I'm more than a little surprised that they didn't have one SEC running back in the top 10 other than McFadden. Are we that bad on the ground this year as a conference? I know Florida doesn't have anybody, but I thought someone else would be on the list. Did everyone else graduate?
Enjoy...

Anybody else notice that 3 of the Top 10 coaches in the nation are current or former Gator coaches? Does that make us Head Coach U.?
EDIT: Oh yeah, almost forgot... all 3 have a NC, too!

Did anyone notice that in the little blurb for Spurs, they misspelled the word "soon".

I'm liking the DL list.. top 3 = LSU, Auburn, then Florida!

I thought Percy Harvin probably merited a Top Playmaker category if not Wide Receiver.

It seemed like they tried not to put too many younger guys on the lists.

We have two senior RB's that will be back along with a redshirt freshman. The problem with us is we use 2 to 3 backs in a game, so no one really has stand out numbers.
What about Bama's RB's...I thought they had a decent RB.
I think overall the SEC lost a lot of great players last year after graduation and leaving early that it opened up a lot of slots for positions at all the other schools.

You gotta love good coaching. Borges, Muschamp, and Tuberville are all represented on that list, Borges at #3 and Muschamp at #4.
You'll notice that Auburn doesn't have many players on the lists--we usually don't. The reason we win is coaching, and that's a constant. That's why I think everyone is freaking out too much over what AU loses player wise, the offense sucked last year anyways and the D will be better.
PS- I don't see Saban anywhere near that list.

Golly... you think that might be because he hasn't coached a game yet, Sherlock. They're basing these rankings primarily on last year's stats.

and if saban was on the list, there would be people complaining for just that reason... at least we had 1 WR and 1 CB on the list

Which makes me wonder, why is Al Borges on that list then? Auburn's offense wasn't even top 3 in the SEC in 2006.

I too was expecting to see Saban included. After all, every player he coached last season is in the NFL today.....that speaks volumes.

Wonder why? Oh yeah, his starting QB's leg was nearly broken. Guess that makes sense.

List looks pretty good to me. The only problem that I have with it is why is Paul Oliver listed as one of the top CB's?

Since Spurrier is not only the head coach, he is also the offensive corodinator, I guess you can't be on more than one list.

....that tells me it's not based on just last year. I don't know where that idea came from, but Borges definitely was not a top 3 OC last season.

I can't believe they have Arkansas's Monk and Alabama's Hall and no mention of LSU's Early Doucet in the WRs. And I think Bama's Simeon Castille is better than most of those in his category; he should be rated higher. And, for my money, Jimbo Fisher certainly doesn't belong at the top of his category. Looks awesome that VT's Bud Foster and LSU's Bo Pelini will have their defenses squaring off early in the season. And Bob Stoops sucks. He should be replaced with Les Miles, IMO. But they did get Glenn Dorsey right... the best defensive lineman in the country, bar none.

Despite Stoops' apparent problem with choking in bowl games, he did win a NC and has put his team in the position to win big bowl games on several occasions. Oklahoma hasn't been down since he's been there.

Speaking of cry babies, I didn't hear anyone calling out Urban Meyer after the whooping the Gators put on the Buckeyes in the National Championship! I guess people realized the man knew what he was talking about...

Yep, Urban is okay; a real cut above Stoops, for sure. I don't like Stoops and I don't like Oklahoma, and I don't like the Big 12. They are nearly as sucky as the Pac 10.

Yeah, nothing worse than the Big XII north. Though that will probably change with Chizik at Iowa State.
Can't wait to see the Cyclones in 4 years.

Really? I think he's exactly what they need....heck, if Schiano can do it for Rutgers, Chizik can do it in the big xii north.

Well, I don't have a problem with coaches who have built programs (Schiano) being in the top 10, but Peterson? Congrats for Boise taking out Oklahoma and being undefeated, but he obviously did it with the team that Dan Hawkins built. When he can do it with his own team, then we'll talk.

well the recruiting is tougher in the midwest because of the surrounding states that draw the best talent, and playing 2nd fiddle to Iowa in your own state doesnt help either
their is alot of talent in the northeast that goes elsewhere, always has so theres more recruiting possibilities at Rutgers, especially now.......

Nobody said it was based on JUST last year. I said primarily on last year; because 1. Saban hasn't been a college coach for a few years. If it was based on performances from several years ago, the coach of the National Champions would be on it; I assure you. 2. Meyer has only been at UF for two years (although he had good years at Utah). I don't think they'd give Meyer too much credit for great years at Utah; but they would for going 9-3 at UF and winning the bowl game his first year at UF, and winning the NC in his second.

I'd say that's more true of the West. They're surrounded by plenty of NC schools. 4 in Texas, alone. Then there's Nebraska, 2 SEC schools (LSU and Arky), and all the contenders (4) in California.
