Due to the Alabama Crimson Tide's inability to capture a victory over the Auburn Tigers in Tuscaloosa, UA president Dr. Robert E. Witt signed the deed to Bryant-Denny Stadium over to the Auburn University president, Dr. Ed Richardson. In a press conference Friday, March 23rd, Dr. Richardson said "We have owned the Crimson Tide for the past five years and they have never beaten us in Tuscaloosa, so we thought we should own their stadium as well."

Beginning Monday, March 26th, crews will be brought in to remove the stench of defeat from the stadium, and it will be re-named "Tuberville Stadium".

Dr. Richardson said that the Crimson Tide will be able to continue playing in the newly improved Tuberville Stadium, as long as they continue to recognize that the Auburn Tigers own them. Construction should not affect the Tide's Spring drills. They only need the field from in between the 20 yard lines.

Richardson's on his way out. Auburn has a new President in town and his name is Jay Gogue. That's pronounced Googe.

I hope the Barn vets are good with crows. There will likely be a lot of crow on the menu after Nick the Prick comes to town to Rub the Tub! Bama won't win many big ones in 2007, but they will beat the Barn.

Can we start a vbookie bet on how many consecutive threads northfla will start that are in the "trash talk" section? I understand the heated rivalry that the Barn and Bama have, but is it like that?? chumpson and SC have a very heated rivalry, but we dont obssess over them like this. Each day it becomes more and more clear that the Barn has a little brother complex....

That's because Clemson is in the ACC and USC is in the SEC. Ditto FSU/UF, Tech/UGA, and Louisville(Big East)/Kentucky.

you don't understand a heated rivalry. But I understand, that you don't understand. Plus, I would set that over/under - pretty damn high. Actaully why don't we set it around 10 or 12. What say you?

You're gonna have to adjust that pic for the 34 x 70 HD jumbotron and that junkyard is getting replaced by our brand new basketball stadium in 2010.
