Saban joins Tyde in Bama-fan clan: Couple name sons for team, new head coach (http://www.decaturdaily.com/decaturdaily/news/070323/fans.shtml)

As early as mid-January, the Witts knew their second child was a boy, and they knew his name would be Saban.

That's right, Saban Hardin Witt, who was born Tuesday at about 5 p.m. in Decatur General Hospital, is named after Alabama head football coach Nick Saban. He was two weeks early and weighed 7 pounds and 10 ounces.

Poor kid. He's going to have a tough time in about five years when the coach goes to USCal (for $75 million 4 yr deal) to replace Pete Carrol who ventured back into the NFL. I am happy to report though, that all the little kids named "Saban" in Louisiana are in counseling and doing well with the adjustment.

It is interesting how Sabear laid down the law and said he would not accept a buyout in his contract. He could get up and walk away from Bama at any moment! :formular:

That might hurt his self esteem, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Baby Saban grows up to be the tattle-tale/kid who steals snacks from other kids lunch boxes!

No need to name the kid after fulmer. The kid would have nightmares with about a fat guy eating doughnuts over him.

I would've name the baby Coward/Liar!!!

Only someone from Tenn (and some parts of Missouri) would name thier baby Coward/Liar. FYI. If you ever have kids, you should let your wife choose the name.
