I have never understood why it is so hard to get Vandy and even Kentucky fans out of the woodwork, but they seem to be few and far between anywhere besides maybe on their own teams websites.

Dude what will it take to get you and your friends to become regulars here? You had a great year in basketball and are having a great year in baseball. Your football team proved last year that they are no longer an easy win or a pushover.

I willl post often. My grandfather is really the only of Vandyfan I know. I do have 1 other friend who I met through one of m car websites, all the other vandy fans I know are on myspace. I will post this link on my myspace groups and see what kind of publicity it gets.
But to the person who wonders why vandyfans don't come out of the woodwork that often? Well, we relaly get tired of hearing how our team is constantly the laughing stock of the SEC. We get tired of hearing how we would not even compete in the OVC. and that our football team should be disbanded. It is those types of comments that keep Vandyfans from admitting they are a vandyfan. Just FYI

On the day that Billy G was hired, over 16,000 fans were logged onto the Cats Pause alone. That doesn't include Rupps Rafters, Wildcat Maniacs, Kentucky Ink, Kentucky Sports Radio, Kentucky Uncensored....etc....the list goes. There are a TON of us online.
Ya wanna know why we're hard to get on SEC boards?
Because no one is talking basketball. Plain and simple. No one is talking basketball recruiting. It's all football, and while we enjoy talking about that, well...you know how unbalanced we are.
If you go to the Sporting News, you'll notice that the college basketball section is innundated w/Kentucky fans. Not so much w/the football.
As far as Vandy fans....they're busy w/tea parties and acquiring overseas companies and the like :D

Well, the SEC is becoming more then "Kentucky and then everyone else" in regards to Basketball so we can talk with the best of them.

You'd be suprised. I have a lot of friends who have season tickets. Some who's parents went to Vandy. My ex-father in law graduated from Vandy with an engineering degree and got his masters in architechture at UT. Vandy season ticket holder. Great seats too. Pro'lly the only thing I miss about that relationship.....

I want to say this about Vandy. Their fans should stay behind the team because they are one that no one ever takes for granted. We always know anything can happen when we play Vanderbilt. I hope they have an exciting year and reach some of their pre-season goals.

I think we all have a soft spot for Vandy. Their the little team that should and when they win, it makes the SEC look good.
