The SEC has made some pretty stupid decisions...but marrying in with CBS was one of the stupidest decisions ever! Tryin' to watch UF-JSU...but they keep goin' to other games...you get into the game, and they switch over to another. This is horrible!

Dude, UFL won by like 60 points! How could anybody "get into the game?"
With that kind of blow out, I would say that CBS was obliged to look elsewhere.

I could. Trey Johnson and I were good friends growing up through 6th grade. Was cool watching him play.

Florida was only up by 5-6 at the half...when CBS switched over the first time...they've always switched coverage if the game was nearing end...but not with 15 minutes to go...I can understand switching to another SEC team if the game is close...but UK had a 9 point lead with less than 2 minutes and Vill was starting to foul...at least let us watch some action! Besides, if it were OM...you'd be sayin' the same thing.

Maybe they figure that there will be more air time for Florida as the teams still competing dwindles down to 8, to 4, to......if Florida - a No. 1 seed - was in danger of actually losing in the 1st round, you can bet your jorts that CBS would lock onto that game, and stay with it until it's conclusion. You will get to see entire games of the Gators later in the tourney, if they make it that far.....
They are just trying to give some airtime for as many teams as they can, for everybody....

They should have some way of keeping the local markets tied into their games. No offense, but in the NCAA Tourney, I'd rather see Utah Tech and San Jose Community College in a tie game with 45 sec left than Florida beating the crap outta somebody. I don't know what the cable situation is like where you guys are, but Time Warner here has 3 or 4 extra CBS stations (811-814 i believe), so that you have the capability of watching any game in it's entirity. I believe that's the solution. Offer fans a chance to watch either of the 4 games, and then having no breakaways period, except during halftime.

That's my point...I live in Florida...I should be able to watch the Gators beat a team senseless! I'd rather watch the Gators pound some cream-puff than OSU-Kansas in a 1 point game with 10 seconds left. There should be "local" coverage areas...can't even watch it online because it's blacked out because CBS is "showing" it...which, they weren't...sucks.
