I was just reading SI's 2007 NCAA Tournament Preview. They asked all the coaches of the other contenders: Who is the team to beat in this year's tournament? The replies were all the same:
1. "Florida", says Ohio State's Thad Matta.
2. "Florida", says Texas A&M's Billy Gillespie.
3. "Florida", says Georgetown's John Thompson III.
4. "The Gators", says Kansas' Bill Self.
5. "No question, Florida", says Ben Howard of UCLA. "They know they can do it. They've got the players. They've got the coach. This year, there's a good chance a repeat could happen."
Sounds good to me. I'd say those 5 guys know basketball; and not a single one mentioned another team.:thumpsup:
