Can anybody tell me what their final record was? I thought they were a 20 game winner.

State finished 18-13.

Ole Miss finished 20-12. Maybe that confusedy ou.

Our team sure had their chance to win 20. They lost 6 games by 4 points or less and I believe in 4 of those MSU had the ball at the end of the game with a chance to tie or win and couldn't convert. It was a strange year. They never reallygot blown out in any game , only losing 3 by more than 10 points and none by more than 13. They just couldn't find a way to win the close games.

Inconsistancy hurt the Dogs also. At times they looked very good while at others they looked like they were giving about 70 % of the needed effort to win against good teams.

Hopefully this year will be a stepping stone for My Dogs who will have a lot of experience returning for next year along with some good looking players coming in. The bulk of the playingtime this year was by 3 freshmen and 3 sophs.
