Congrats to both schools for making the final. Prediction: UF 73 - UA 70.

We need to stop taking so many 3s, or at least make one. We're 1-13 right now from behind the arc.

It looks like three games in three days has gotten to the razorbacks. You need to pound the middle since the three's aren't falling, but that is easier said than done with the florida bigs in there.

Didn't the Gators just play the Hogs for an SEC Championship a couple of months ago?

Well well, if it isn't deja vu. Arkansas falling victim to Florida in the Georgia Dome for the SEC Championship.
Stan Heath = Houston Nutt Redux?

Embarassing loss, I wish Donovan would ease up on us, a blowout would kill any hope for an at large bid ;(.

Holy cow! 77-56 Gators. Any questions, stupid or otherwise?

what did you guys think of the refs?

Arkansas was getting a little chippy at the end. (What was up with the Heath technical anyway?) The Hogs put up a real valiant effort, though. I think they get an at large because they've been up as of late.

What was the final % for 3s? 3-24 or something like that? It seems we would just settle for 3s. Losing Thomas hurt as well.
I'm not sure Heath did enough to save his job. We'll see though.

ESPN is saying we don't get in, what a shame.

Three's look good when your tired. I wish donovan would of let us keep it close so it wouldnt look as bad to the committee. Not mad at him or anything thing, there trying to get that #1 seed. I did think the refs could of been a lot better, but florida would of won anyways. But the continuation on the noah basket and when both teams stopped playing when townes was fould. I wonder what stan said to make the ref call a tech with less than a minute to go.

I wondered about that, too. What could somebody possibly say at the one minute mark, down by 24? The only thing I can figure is he must have said something directly to a ref. Maybe it wasn't the first time or something. As far as the NCAA tourney, I think Arky's a lot more deserving than UK. At the beginning of the telecast, they said the only "sure things" were UF, UT, and Vandy. They said UK was a probable. We'll see shortly. At the beginning of the OSU/UW game they showed the conference RPI numbers; and the SEC and ACC were tied for the top spot. We may get more than 4 in.

Ya know, I hate to beat a dead horse...but the media bias towards the Big 10 is a joke! Yesterday, the Gators are playing OM in the SEC Tourney Semifinals...guess what CBS showed...at least in this part of Florida, Big 10...I was told it was a nationally telecast game...gimme a freakin' break...
Congrats to Arky...#2 in the SEC ain't bad...can't believe the Hogs may miss the Tourney...with teams like "Winthrop" in it...it's a joke too.
BTW, GO GATORS!!!! 3 Tourney Championships in a row!!!

Arky would get in if I were on the committee; that's for sure. However, Winthrop is for real. They are by far the best team in South Carolina. They only lost four games this year, and they were as quality as losses come.
@ #2 UNC (in Charlotte, but UNC crowd) by 7
@ #24 Maryland by 11
@ #12 Wisconsin by 3
@ #11 Texas A&M by 20
Plus, they won their conference.

I was at the game today and I gotta say that Arkansas gave us more of a game than UGA and Ole Miss did. It was alot of fun watching the players and Donovan cut down the net at the Ga dome(for the third year in a row)
I was amused at some of the chants Gator fans came up with. Toward the end of the game UF fans were chanting "Just like football" "Just like football"
Congrats to the Gators for finishing strong. Also congrats to the Hogs on getting a tourney berth!

Great job, and congrats to the Florida Fans.
And congrats to the Hogs! Because you don't just lose like any other team would, you build up our hopes and underdog dreams... then lose.
Apparenting it was enough to earn a chance for another embarassing one-and-out shot in the NCAA tourny before Heath is fired. And it'll be against our old friends at So. Cal! Won't that be fun.

Dude you guys can beat USCw. They are very beatable. In fact, the way the SEC west played in the SEC tourney, id put my money on the top 4 sec west teams against USCw.
Then it looks like you will have a shot at Texas.
I figured Arkansas fans would be in hawg heaven right now.

Heck, we even beat Southern Cal early in the season (at their place). I remember it well, since at that point I had a little hope. However, as the season went along, that hope fizzled.

stark, you seem like a sad sad person. You are right though, we didnt just lose like other teams. We won three games in three days and gained an NCAA tourney birth, i dont know how many teams would of done that. And its not like we lost to a chump team. It was the #1 overall seed in the dance. And i think we will beat USCw...They have like 1 guy thats 6'9 that plays 20 plus minutes, we are going to pound them on the inside.
