drink bourbon? Does anyone know or have a link? My nephew at Fla St is doing a paper on football history in the State of Alabama and has dug up some interesting stories about "The Real Bear". I have only read some of it and the sources are probably questionable - but it appears - the 'Bear' had a fun life. I'm an Auburn fan - and this information made me respect his selfish desire to 'enjoy life", even more.

Bear was nothing but class...
all bourbon alcholics were, and continue to be - classy at all times. I remember a Sunday coaches show in the early 70's when Bryant was taken off the show at half time - he was slurring pretty bad - and naming players who were no longer on the team. I don't have a link - I just remember watching it on TV. Most coaches of that era drank hard which in turn, caused moments of "lack of class". But I understand that the Bear was an exception - except for this one time.

What class is that for? Yellow Journalism 101? You should probably use the search feature on the board. This subject has also been beaten to death in numerous prior threads.

not corect - it's "correct", I meant - sorry - I been a drankin' this one time - kinda like "THE BEAR". Anyway, the Bear did drink heavily, corect (I mean correct - sorry)? YES or NO? Please help my nephew git a "A" on his Internet Scociology Course.
