Though they are the number 2 seed in their bracket, I think Vanderbilt can do some damage. I have them playing Florida in the final. Who wins? Probably Florida, but I'm putting it all out there and saying Vandy gets 'em.

no question, it's South Carolina.
no other SEC team would capture that title like SC with a run to the title game.
ain't gonna happen, tho......

Well... all we have to do is beat Tennessee, Ole Miss, Florida, and then Miss State or Vandy for the championship. A walk in the park!

Its LSU...
For some reason I want to say that Kentucky, despite all odds, will beat Alabama, and MSU, and face Florida in the finals.

LSU can become the first team to win the Southeastern Conference Tournament by winning four games in four days since Arkansas did it in 2000. It has the talent. It's the most underachieving team in the SEC with a 5-11 finish for last in the West, if not in the nation. It has the motive. There is no other way it can reach the NCAA Tournament than by getting the automatic bid that the tournament provides.
The Tigers, who finished the regular season at 16-14 with a 62-51 win over South Carolina on Saturday, play the fourth game Thursday night at approximately 8:45 against SEC East No. 3 Tennessee (22-9, 10-6) at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. If it wins that game, LSU will meet West No. 2 Ole Miss (19-11, 8-8) at about 8:45 p.m. Friday. And if LSU wins that game, it will play at 2:15 p.m. Saturday against the winner of SEC East No. 1 Florida and Auburn or Georgia. Auburn and Georgia meet Thursday for the right to play Florida on Friday.
It could happen. There is not a team in the SEC that LSU has not beaten or should have beaten this season with the former the larger of the two numbers. LSU outplayed Ole Miss throughout but lost 71-70 when Glen Davis made an extremely uncharacteristic crunch time error with an inexplicable turnover with five seconds left and the lead. LSU just beat Florida by 10 a little more than a week ago and it could have been quite a bit more than that. It could have easily won at Kentucky before falling 70-63. It lost at Georgia on a buzzer beater. In all, LSU has lost four SEC games by three points or less. "We owe everybody," former player Collis Temple II said after Saturday's game.
Revenge is great, but close losses also mean a team doesn't know how to win when it counts. LSU has also not won four in a row since it beat the likes of Louisiana Tech, Wright State, Mississippi Valley State and Samford all at home back in December. In addition, Tennessee is the hottest team in the SEC with four straight wins, but the Tigers played with them for most of a 70-67 loss in Knoxville on Feb. 6 and Davis was not himself in that game. Davis scored a two-season-low five points on 2-of-10 shooting. "I would assume he would do everything possible to play this time against Tennessee because even though he was on the floor against Tennessee in Knoxville, he didn't do a whole lot," said LSU coach John Brady, who couldn't resist a little shot at Davis. "And he knows that. So hopefully he has a chance to have some redemption against a team where he didn't play very well," Brady went on. "Not one of his better games this season obviously. So there should be some incentive for him to want to get himself in the best condition possible." Davis returned to the lineup Saturday and proved once again why he is clearly the best player LSU has. From the 8:18 mark of the second half until 1:50 remained Saturday, the score was Big Baby 9, South Carolina 0. That gave LSU a 52-45 lead, and it was over.
"He called my plays, and I just took advantage of it. You know I was kind of shocked he called my play," said Davis, who couldn't resist a little shot at Brady, whose new offense did not go through Davis until it absolutely mattered against South Carolina. "I was pleased with what he did tonight and how he approached it," Brady said. While Davis was out for three games with a quadriceps injury, maybe the other players learned what they can do whether he is in the game or not. Now that Davis is back, maybe LSU can be a better team. It could happen. But before it does Brady and Davis need to bury the hatchet and start behaving like adults and realize that for the next four games, they both need each other.

If the key to winning the tournament is 'owing people' then state has just as good a chance as anyone.
If Uk beats bama, then state would get a chance to beat the cats, getting revenge for a 4 point loss at Rupp. Assuming Arkansas beats SC and Vandy(why shouldn't they) state would get to avenge a close emotional game at Arkansas. Then in the finals they would play either Florida or Tennessee, both very close games, that state could have won. So I hope your formula is right.
