I agree with the part that said Chris Weinke was 87 years old!

I think Troy will be better than most people think. Hell he was 28-3 as a starter at tOSU. IMO, I think measureables are nice but overrated. Its all about heart and determination. Troy has a lot of that. Look at some of his highlights and tell me if Russell or Quinn could have gotten out of some of those situations and won the game.

Craig Krenzel was 24-3 at Ohio State and even won a national championship and is currently sitting on waivers somewhere pondering what he can do with his molecular genetics degree.

Craig Krenzel was a genius whom was smart with the ball and never turned it over. Yeah he could run and make plays but he very seldomly turned it over and just made the right plays to win games. Look at our NC year in 2002 when we won 8 out of 14 games by a touchdown or less. A lot of Krenzel's success to rode on the foot of our former all american kicker Mike Nugent. Krenzel won the Draddy Trophy (academic heisman) and is well to do. He did decent in his first 3 games with the Bears going 3-0 but was benched after that. Even though you might claim Troy and Craig to be similar based on their records, It is Troy's athletic ablity and playmaking that sets him apart. Troy has the tools where Craig was just your average quarterback talent wise. That is why Troy, IMO, will succeed in the NFL.

I wasn't making the claim based on records. You were making the claim that Smith will win in the NFL because he won at the collegiate level at Ohio State. I showed the comparisons between the two. You also made the claim on heart and determination. Krenzel had just as much since he had less around him at the wideouts and he was an unathletic white guy.
