Will someone please try to find those pesky bama fans that were sure they were going to roll in to Starkville and win, clinching a spot in the NCAA tournament? This place has been crawling with them and now...well...I guess they are in the bushes at Nick's house waiting for football season. Good game bama, way to come out like you're post season hopes were on the line. And it's always good to wipe that smirk off of Gottfried's face. Maybe next year...maybe next year...:laugh:

I'm sure it was hard for Bama to get up for a game against who they certainly felt to be an obviously weaker opponent. And obviously Bama gave that win to Miss State. But, congrats just the same, not sure how much further you'll go. But like us, you still have baseball - wait - no, I mean you still have Croom - ouch - oh well, nevermind, just try to milk this baby for all it's worth!

We didn't give the win away.... We just didn't have the horses on Sunday. MSU went 6-4 in the last 10 games. Ole Miss went 6-4 down the stretch. Auburn was 4-6 down the stretch. Ark. went 5-5 down the stretch. LSU went 3-7 and Bama went 5-5.

That is the division MSU and Ole Miss won. Not very strong. Not one NCAA team in the division.

Alright I know you are a South Carolina fan so I'm going to try to explain this to you as easy as possible. When state played south Carolina we were leading the majority of the game. And due to poor play calling, and attempts to freeze the clock, South Carolina was able to get back into the game. It wasn't exceptional play on the part of south Carolina, it was extremely poor play on the part of Mississippi State. Anyone who watched that game would know. And as for the bama game, no one in their right mind would make the argument you made. And I'm glad that steve has brought South Carolina football back to promenence, I mean 8-5, shouldn't he be coach of the year or something?

guy, you have every right to be proud, you guys win a share of the division, played a fantastic game, Rhodes was out of his mind and so was white boy, hansborough? but if anyone here talked smack pre game that was a bama fan Im sure they were just having fun.........we've been concerned about our team all year, they've been inconsistent, not motivated, poorly coached.....

Alright I'm going to go ahead and apologize, I let some of my bama friends I know get the better of me and I've been acting like an ass on here because of it. I'm sorry I let my emotions get the better of me.

Plus, if this argument goes anywhere but basketball I haven't the slightest leg to stand on.

Well, I have to admit.... MSU shocked me down the stretch winning it with Ole Miss. I thought in Jan, that it was Bama and Arkansas to lose.

Bama will have a shot against UK. Morris gets pushed out and they start chucking up threes.... Bama's game to win.

This State team has been up and down all year, It's going to be really interesting to see which one shows up at the tournament. And I would love a rematch against Bama.

I'm not really sure about the KY game. I think its pretty much a toss-up because if you want to talk about players tuning their coach out and sleepwalking through games, well, there's Bama and Kentucky for you. Both of them have had major problems this year.
