The Cat's come to the O'Dome to play the Gators at noon. The game will be televised on CBS. UK really needs the game, but I expect the Gators to return to form at home for the regular season finale. Gators 73 Cats 69.

Noah didn't help the Gators by his we get to play the 'Kitty Cats' comment. I agree with him that UK is no longer a roaring wildcat......but you never give your opponent any added incentive to kick your arse. Mr. Noah may have just learned another lesson. I do think the Gators win this game but just like the last one, it will be a dogfight.

well I for one am looking forward to the game. It's televised, right? It's been a while since I've seen the Gators win a game......I've even seen the Gamecocks win a basketball game since I've seen Florida win. :)

......Two games? Man, I can definitely understand not having anything to cheer about, but c'mon we've lost 2 games in a row.

Don't worry about lacene, Shanksta...his team is so horrible, he's been forced to start rootin' against other teams...and his envy of the Gators has made us the "lucky" one. Beginning to remind of other "trolls" we've had to deal with here.

Starting to look pretty good. I thought we were about to break away on that 10-0 run but Kentucky is staying with us.

Turnovers are killin' us! UK is playing well...scoring off our TO...nearly a third of their points have been off Gator TOs....if the Gators can limit the TOs...with Noah blocking a few shots, the Gators should win...but we've said this before over the last few weeks...:(

Gators win!!

Good game Cats...Gators remain undefeated at home...2nd year in a row. Wow, just realized, the Gators haven't lost at home in football or basketball in 2 years!!!

Great way to go into the SEC Tourney...hopefully, we'll get "2" seed.

Thanks.....Cats played tough. Question: Heard someone say that this is the first time "any" team has beaten UK six times in a row...is that true?

ESPN.com has a frontpage article on it that says Florida is the first SEC team to do it. But I'm pretty sure that they are the first team period to do it. It would make sense.

This season is so similiar to last it's crazy! The Gators did the same last season, went into a slump, lost 3 games in a row...then beats UK headed into the SEC Tourney. If the Gators win the SEC Tourney, we'll have a #1 seed...if not, we're lookin' at a #2. I wonder how Donovan approaches the SEC Tourney...play hard and try for the #1 seed, or rest the players, hope for the best...but get to the NCAA Tourney rested and happy with the #2 seed.

the potential 7 seed match up in the second round is far scarier than a possible 8-9 match up. Also a 1 seed has never lost so you're basically money for one win. I would be hoping for a 1 seed if I were a Florida fan.

Exactly the same, except that we only had to lose 2 in a row this year, although we did lose the game before beating SC. I only got to see parts of the game, but what I saw made me confident. They did as I predicted they'd do. Win the last one at home and head to the tourney on fast forward. I'm not sure Donovan's going to have a lot of control over how hard these guys play. When they start rolling, it's on, no matter what. I hope this is the beginning of another run, like last year. The Gators exceeded even my expectations as far as winning the game. I like it like that.

Good game Kentucky fans.
The Gators needed this win in a big way. Lets hope this gives us a boost for the SEC tourney.
All in all...it was a good day for me. I decided to go see the Thrashers play today instead of watching the UF game at home. When I got to the ticket window, the guy gave me a free ticket because I was sporting my UF hat. So when I walked in the first thing I saw was the UK/UF game on the big screen!
I watched the whole second half of the Florida game before I went to my seat.
To top it all off, Atlanta won the game defeating division rival, Carolina Hurricanes by a score of 3-1!
Thats 6 in a row over UK and SEC history! Here is the link.... GO GATORS!

Congrats to Florida on being the first team in history to defeat Kentucky six straight times.

And Tubby breaks, yet again, another record!

You Kentucky fans are something else.I guess Bama fans are something else too when they wanted Shula gone. I'm pretty confident if Mark Richt has 2-3 bad seasons in fb, dawg fans will be calling for his head. I wont mention bball cause ya'll have never had much to get upset about.

I guess its all in what you consider a "bad season". There are some SEC teams who would kill to have back to back seasons with only 10 losses and an NCAA tournament berth in both.
Then again with Smith's success in the past, the only place you can move is down. UK fans have high expectations in basketball.

Its all in how you look at it I guess.

Its all in how you look at it I guess.Just as we all do in most sports. Our bball program is in decline, has been for the past 5 yrs. The numbers dont lie........the biggest problem is Tubby isnt recruiting the type of players needed to compete at a championship level.

To be perfectly honest, I'm hoping for the #2 seed. Gators in New Orleans!
