If anyone is watching, you can see that the refs are trying to keep Stan Heath's job. Ervin punches Rhodes in the crotch and they both get t'd up. Patrick Beverly came at jamont Gordon with a flying elbow and no call. It is ridiculous.:angry:

Now they're blowing the whistle every time someone touches. So I guess they heard me.

I don't think even the refs can help Health out at this point. A lot of time left in this one. Definitely a tense game.

I'm sweating bullets and it seems like the hogs are making a run. Aided by the 1-11 from behind the arc from the bulldogs. But as they say, you live by the three and you die by the three.

state gets a phantom foul after an Arkansas turnover so Arkansas has the ball with 1:26.

58-65 game over. looks like state will have to win at home against Alabama to get the 1 seed.

Gary Ervin finally gets his revenge against his old squad. He had 20 points and state was 1-15 or some godawful number from behind the arc.

Great game! Ugly win. Hogs looked like the lesser team out there and won anyway. Though MSU threw up some ugly, deperate junk.
The BBall team confuses me. They loose to the last place team and then beat the first place team.
Now there are 4 teams on top of the west at 7-8.
The west side is crazy!

That may have been the worst shooting performance out of this Mississippi state team. I'm befuddled as to why we didn't keep packing it down low to Charles Rhodes, it was as if Arkansas was begging us to blow them out and we decided the best way to do that was to completely change strategies and make Dietric Slater our go to guy. What a joke.
