The president of the Puerto Rican Senate will lobby Congress this week for a bill that could lead to statehood for the Caribbean island -- even though Puerto Ricans have rejected statehood three times in the last 40 years.

I've always felt that Puerto Rico should be a United State. It would greatly increase the standard of living in that country. I think they are just hesitant to come under that much American influence.

But Mexico has 31 States and the DF(their version of DC). Imagine a US Flag with 81 Stars for a second...
