That's funny since Harrah's won't even be in existence by 2008.

Why? What's going to happen to them?

They are in the middle of a buy out by an independent firm.

Investors to Buy Harrah's for $27.8 Billion (http://www.businessweek.com/investor/content/dec2006/pi20061220_544454.htm)

I know it's an old source but it's what I'm basing what I say off of. They have also lost three executives since the start of the year.

A change in ownership probably won't mean a name change or have much affect on their operations as long as they are being profitable, which I think they are. The Harrah's in Shreveport is so big that you think you're in Vegas and the one in New Orleans isn't too shabby.

New Orleans Harrah's kinda sucks. Although I do like Louisiana Downs.

Yea, I've been out there a couple times. I went with a friend of mine whose dad's friend got us the nice sits up in the luxury boxes with the awesome food and table TVs. Lost all my money but damnit that 90-1, 75-1, and 60-1 almost finished in the right order for my $2 trifecta.
