Akeem Hebron was arrested over the weekend for underage possession of alcohol. No other news yet. However, he didn't run from police or get into an aggressive stance when confronted by police.

Apparently, we always want to have points for the Fulmer Cup

Would I be alone here when I say that this does not seem like a big deal nor should it be treated that way? He was charged with possession and not consumption right? And he was not driving?
Kids have gotten in trouble for worse things than this thats for sure

possession and consumption are the same thing, cause i was charged with an MIP in athens and when they got to me, i didn't have anything in my hand. either way, cops in athens are dicks, and it's probably the easiest place in the country to get arrested for an MIP

THAT is a true story. UGA has gone overboard with the underage drinking thing. They started the whole idea to change the name of the WLOCP, and practically challenged UF to do the same. They make it sound like only people under 21 attend the game. It's ridiculous. Reminds me of Nancy Reagan, and "Just Say No". While nobody is taking the name change of the game seriously, they d..n sure better take underage drinking in Athens that way. They aren't fooling around. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has published articles ad nauseam on the subject.

Who is that? Is he the University President, or something?

Yeah, that is Michael "takes it in the ass" Adams.

Ask KillerNut what he and OSU thinks of Karen Holbrook. They want UGA to take her back.

Dawgs, why is it that you have a track record lately of having the most crappy University Presidents put on this Earth? Holbrook was hell and Adams is worse.

Its gotta be a joke. This is one of the biggest games in the SEC every year. The Iron bowl is the only game that ranks up there with the WLOCP to me.

And as far as the atmosphere goes... the landing before game time is hard to beat. Probably Burbon St. in New Orleans before the sugar bowl is the only thing better than the landing:thumpsup:

Good one. If only USC had a game that was equal and worth a darn. Maybe you can get that going with S.C State or The Citadel.

Maybe you can call the Clemson game, The Potato Bowl or something.

I don't consider Hebron's arrest a big deal, but it does hurt since he's now suspended for 2 games. As long as they aren't shooting up places, robbing, stealing, driving drunk, being an @$$ to the police, etc. then I tend to go easy on them. We were all once in those shoes. I hate it for Hebron, he's going to miss that time practicing with the 1st or 2nd team.

The cops here are terrible. There is a lot of poverty and crime in Athens, but all the cops care about is busting college kids for drinking. Its insane. At one point last year, they would raid at least two bars every weekend, locking everyone inside and checking everyone's ID.

I don't want to blame all of UGA's problems on Mike Adams, but at the very least he's an enabler of all this crap.

I remember not too many years ago, UGA was rated as one of the nation's Top Party Schools. All the UGA fans were so proud of that. Now, a mere 10 years later, they've gone from Top Party School to Top Party-Pooper School.

No, it is all his fault. He is a graduate of David Lipscomb University here in Nashville. My parents went there I know what it is like. All of his actions are almost perfectly aligned with those at DLU. And on top of that he is a fat-P.O.S.-salad tossing-hypocrite.

So he is worse then Karen Holbrook? Wow, again the OSU students and alumni HATE Holbrook and wish UGA would take her back. How about a trade, Adams for Holbrook?
