ATHENS, Ga. --- The No. 1-ranked University of Georgia men’s tennis team (4-0) defeated in-state rival 28th-ranked Georgia Tech Tuesday by a score of 7-0 in Atlanta. The match was clinched at the No. 3 singles position as 22nd-ranked junior Travis Helgeson (Overland Park, Kan.) defeated Jordan DeLass, 6-3, 6-1. Georgia has now beaten Georgia Tech 21 straight times and has won 45 of the last 46 matches dating back to 1968.
