Mike Mercer dislocated his knee tonight against USC. They popped it back in on the court, but he had to be carted off. Hopefully, the damage is not bad, depends on the severity of the dislocation. Hope for the best.

Big conference win for UGA today. I hope Mercer is alright, he is the team leader in ppg if I am not mistaken. If Mercer is ok, then I look for UGA to make a big run in the SEC. UK is the only tough team left on your schedule.
UGA will be on the bubble by seasons end IMO.

We're right on the edge. Losing Mercer is going to hurt. Someone will have to step up.

His 13.6 points per game will be missed dearly. I still see us going 4-2, or 5-1 to finish the season though. Then maybe pick up an SEC Tourney win or two and we will probably make it into the dance. Where hopefully he will be back to full stregth.

Just read in the paper today that Mercer had an ACL tear. The good news is he will recover fast and be back as strong as ever next season. The bad news is that he will be out the rest of this year.
I dont count UGA out just yet though. The most difficult game you have left is at UK. Most of the games remaining on your season schedule are home games.

Damnit I hadn't heard that. That seriously blows that he is out for the rest of the year. Some others are really going to have to step it up.

UGA has some depth there is no doubt. As I said the worst of you schedule is pretty much over. All the other teams on your schedule(with maybe the exception of @ UK) are beatable.
There is more than a possibility that UGA could make it to the dance this year.

I didn't watch the game, but it looked like we missed Mercer greatly.

ATHENS, Ga. –--- Three players scored in double figures as Georgia defeated Kennesaw State 75-66 Wednesday night at Stegeman Coliseum. With the win, the Bulldogs up their season record to 15-9, while the Owls dip to 11-17 overall.

Takais Brown led Georgia in scoring with 16 points in just 21 minutes of action. Sundiata Gaines added 15 points and Levi Stukes chipped in 14 of his own. Gaines was also the Bulldogs’ leading rebounder and assist man with six of each.

“We played flat,” said head coach Dennis Felton. “Kennesaw State did a good job of working the game and dragging out possessions. They were aggressive. They got steals and did a good job on the offensive glass.”
