Not trying to rain on your parade there...but Michigan basketball hasn't been relevant since the Fab 5. Take down Wisconsin, the realest team in the Big 10, and then come holla. Oh wait.... :D

UF and OSU played in BB right before they played the football game. Both teams were ranked in the top 5, and there was plenty of smack talk from the OSU faithful about it being the warm up to the NC FB game. They were saying it's going to be a sweep. I don't think they realized how right they were.:brick: UF won the BB game 86-60, and you know how the FB game turned out. OSU treats Michigan like we treat OSU. Owned.

I so hope we meet again in the tourney. This time it won't be Oden's first game and our freshmen have had time to gel together. Our game with Florida in Bball was tied until the second half. We almost beat UNC without Oden and we lost to Wisconsin by 2 on their home court. We play Wisconsin one more time in Columbus. Their are 4 Big 10 teams that are undefeated on their home floor. The Big Ten is by far the best conference in college basketball and I would bet that we have 7 or 8 teams in the tourney.

It's certainly a possibility that we'll play again. Most of the talking heads think the SEC is the strongest BB conference, though. You wouldn't think so by looking at the West, but they keep beating up on each other because of the parity in our conference. It's starting to mirror FB, in that respect. Clearly, if you only go by rankings, the 10 holds the best spots. That's almost impossible in the SEC, because almost all the teams are good. No single team, or couple teams, with the exception of UF, can break out of the pack. We're undefeated in conference play, but every team was in it for the whole game, except SC. These SEC coaches put a lot of stock in conditioning. It won't be long, now. But, you know what they say, Nut. Be careful what you wish for.

You can have both of them,

Yesterday's high in Columbus, 18
Yesterday's high in Ann Arbor, 19
Yesterday's high in Columbia, 70
Score for 18 holes, 78
Playing golf while you froze your "NUTS" off, Priceless

Haha. Its great isnt it? Beating you rival in the two major sports. Owning them in football over the past decade or longer.

I guess OSU & UF have more in common than we knew.

Well, if I had to make a wish, I would want to play Florida. If the media has anything to say about it, I am sure they will put tOSU and UF in the best possible situation so that there is a high chance they will meet if everything goes right. Losing to Florida, whom has a very high chance of repeating, isn't all that bad. If I had to fill out my bracket tomorrow, I would honestly pick Florida to win it all.

Wow, I would love to be down there. 18 in Columbus? Damn, sure felt colder than that. Probably that -10 wind chill!

of course not but have you seen two teams play split in a year even when one of the wins was a blowout?

or course..................I was just talking about the surrealness of them matching up for another NC in a different sport in the same year
