Thats a bald eagle noob. Still, I like it. With the way AU basically represents as the class/leader of the SEC, we really should get a bald eagle as well.

Only guidelines I can think of are: 1) I really like dark dark blues, much like the blue/black blend that is used on AUBlaaake's sig or Auburn's home uniforms 2) Maybe get some of Auburn's new lead characters involved (i.e. Kodi, Fannin, Tate, etc) 3) And of course having my beloved name within it!

If you're really looking for a challenge, see if you can cram my beautiful cheerleader in it somewhere!

I have an Epson Large Format Photo Printer and I usually print Sports photos for myself and friends. When I come up with an idea I will let you know and if you have some of your works that you would like in a photo then I can do that for you.

Also, I apologize for not giving you exactly what you wanted. I've always found it difficult to make a decent looking sig with more than 1 subject in it, so I chose Tate. I got our dark blue, but also a good bit of orange.

Some of them are alright...but it takes me two hands to count the delusional and flamer Bama fans on this board whereas I can count the other team's bad apples on one.

I think that's misleading as we're exposed to such a small sample of Bama's fanbase on here. Most of them are good. Every team has bad apples, Bama's just like to show up here.

OMNP, you can center your sig like mine by putting [center[]/center] around the IMG tags. You'd have to flip the brackets in the middle to make them like ][, I just typed it backwards because it won't show up otherwise.

It's really trial and error. If you don't like the way it looks, go back. I work a lot in layers so if I screw up, I can just delete the layer. I used, like 40 layers for that one.

You had to have been working with photoshop at least marginally before just now. I look at your sigs and see things that there's no way an ameatur could produce.

If you really haven't that blows my mind.

No I haven't. I just downloaded it when you suggested it. I was using Corel at first and it kind of limited me real quick on what I could do. And I just look up all kinds of tutorials. Once I learn something once, that's usually all it takes. I do paint in real life, maybe that has something to do with it.

That really surprises me, you're doing great. I just see certain blending techniques in your sigs that usually take most people hundreds of trial&error attempts before they figure out.

Once you get really good at this style the most fun thing to do is try to learn another. There are GFX boards with all kinds of styles you can learn, and you'll find you're better at some than others.

Always keep in mind, the more you put into a sig, the more you'll get out of it. If you half-ass anything your sig will reflect that.

Occhio, what style did you set the elephant layer on? I love how it gives the rest of a sig a glossy look.

Also, is the BG brushing or filters or a combo of both or what?

I used a gradient on the background and set it on difference, made small gradients all over the scree, did a color balance adjustment layer to make it red, did a contrast adjustment layer to bring out darks. Then using the photoshop brushes, did layers of black, layers of white, layers of red. When I got the result I wanted, I did an adjustment layer curves and changed it up to what you see. I think I laid the elephant on a hard light layer. Then I used brushes to blend that and my other background together. The glossy look was more of a byproduct of how I did the background than what style of layer I used.

I'll try that when I get a chance. I want to make an orange and blue one. What brush set did you use?

My name is not Erik. Get that myth out of your head. I don't even know an Erik. I've been working as a commercial graphic and user interface designer since '89 and have used every version of Photoshop since the beginning and have taught classes on it before. My 12 year old daughter can cut/paste and apply filters. It's not rocket science. I spent all of 15 minutes on the one above. I was trying to do aufan a quick favor....I didn't realize this was the "sabanocchio request thread"...whatever.

Art is subjective and every artist has a unique style. When you grow up and mature, you will learn to appreciate the work of others. I hardly consider these football sigs serious art. I like some of yours better than others.. Overall I'd say your relying too heavily on filter effects and losing focus. Keep practicing...you'll get better!!

I've been doin some signature work recently. I haven't played around with photoshop in about a year, but I decided to do some playin. I'm not sure what tools you use and stuff to do yours in photoshop, but mine are pretty elementary photoshop skills. Here are some ones i've done:

Wow, that's actually not too bad. That's actually what I was workin on. I had forgot about the sig you wanted for Gatorboy and i'm doin it right now, and I had something like that in mind. Great for Paint, Must have taken you forever haha
