Figured it would be a good idea to have one area to address any small issues people find. Also what people think about the new features as Chris adds them..
So far I love the speed of the site, and the concept of team skins. Medals are officially here, and hopefully an arcade will be added to the games
First "bug" I've noticed was that the links to open up sections like "SEC Football" are now centered on the page? I'm running the latest version of Firefox so I don't think its my browser. Was this intended Chris? (I think it looked better with the links on the left)

You'll have to include a screenshot, I have no clue what you're talking about...

Mine's all still on the left. Maybe you accidentally changed something or it is the browser. I'm running IE.

Looks fine in IE7 on Vista and IE6 on XP. I will install Firefox and check it out.
Well, I had Firefox on one of my thumb drives and I see the problem on it. I shouldn't fix it to force people to use a real browser, but I will see what I can do.

Its really not a big deal, I figured it might be Firefox. It was all on the left yesterday and it changed today so whenever the last update occurred.
Firefox is a lot faster/more secure for web browsing and has a million safe add-ons to make it all custom. So thats why I use it as opposed to IE. I updated to the newest version of IE and its OK but still slow in comparison to Firefox.

I used netscape a loooooooong time ago so I can't say for sure if Firefox would be an upgrade in your case. I used to be an IE user and refused to try Firefox, but after trying it it is definitely the faster/safer web browser.
Just go to mozilla.com and read up on it... definitely take the tutorials and stuff so if you download it (free) you will know how to take advantage of all the features. My favorite aspects of it are the tabbed web browsing, and at mozilla.com you can download and implement tons of user-created/mozilla created add ons. The add-ons can be anything from personalized spell checkers in any language to tons of different skins and features.
If you just want to compare the speed I'd say download it and just compare. It is noticeably different especially when you compare it when loading Flash sites.

I've got Firefox and it's the same thing for me. I just logged on a little bit ago and haven't changed anything, so it must be unique to FFox.

Thank you Chris!
The Arcade is in and it is sweet. I couldn't beat Chris' simon says record, but I will put up an unbeatable snake score eventually. I used to play that all the time on my oooold cell phone.

Site looks pretty sweet though I do have two minor requests/suggestions. In addtion to the 'New Posts' option at the top, also have a 'Today's Posts' button.
#2, speaking of at the top, perhaps down by the rep/report post buttons, add a 'TOP' button that you can click on to fly you up to the top of the page to make navigating a little easier.
Nit-picking, I know but those are the only two things I can think of....everything else is pretty sweet.

I keep getting URL not found whenever I try to access the site. I had to go to a different computer and the same thing happened but I was able to use the back button to get it to work somehow. What am I doing wrong here?

Chris-
Is their room to add an Arcade section to the SECTalk Games section of the forum? That way we can let people know when tournaments are up/people can talk about the games/scores/recommendations.

good evening, oh knowing one. i humble myself to you as it relates to computers but never to barn/bammer football soooo... since it is off season ( except for us trying to steal recruits) i would like to thank you for giving info. on firefox. i like the speed and i like the fact that it allows me to save passwords for sites i use for work. you seem to be up to date on computers and again i have a question.
i have a gator friend who is on dial up (i'm on cable). firefox really helps me out with speed. would it help him out on dial up as to speed once he is on line.
i am clueless on this issue ( as well as many others) and don't know what to tell him.
i've tried to hook him up with this site but he gets frustrated at the speed he has.
thanks in advance and congratulations on the number three recruiting class next year behind bama and florida.

Hahhaa, I think it would help him a little man, but probably not too much as far as dial-up goes.

Blake, I have the same problem on Safari (default browser for Mac), but only sometimes. Doesn't really bother me as I don't spend extended time on the index anyways.
